  1. They are but we are providing a s***load of money and expertise to them to help out. I hope all that is enough.
  2. If you are referring to Yassin then I am in favor of how Isreal handled it. They caused a lot less death with that missile than they would have with a commando raid and they saved themselves the trouble of a circus trial. Nice work. As for the 1000 or so "rising threats" they should be watched and if they get to the point where they are an imminent threat then I think we can find enough missiles to deal with them. You were referring to worldwide threats right?
  3. Yeah, lets hope the Chicago Democratic machine doesn't somehow lose it.
  4. http://www.suntimes.com/output/iraq/cst-nws-saddam29.html This guy has some serious issues. I know you should have a presumption of innocence but in this case I think the evidence is a bit against him. I got it..Maybe he can say his sons drove him crazy and get off on an insanity plea. Knowing about all the shenanigans his sons were engaged in before getting waxed someone actually might buy that.
  5. The U.S. constitution doesn't cover that. The Geneva convention does. Speaking of which I do seem to remember reading there the simple concept that a civillian who takes up arms is no longer a civillian and is fair game in a war just like I am. Details Details.
  6. Funny but I never derided the missile strikes Clinton launched against Afghanistan after the Cole bombing. Bush hasn't gotten a shot off at him? I seem to remember us invading Afghanistan and closing down his base of operations there for keeps. Or was I hallucinating when I saw those SF troops riding into battle on horseback or the Northern Alliance taking Kabul and Kandahar. Seems to me we have taken a lot of shots at him. But something just dawned on me. You guys cry and b**** that we haven't nailed the bastard yet but half of you seem to think we already have Bin Laden and we are waiting for election day to trot him in front of the cameras getting a tounge depressor shoved in his mouth by a medic. Yeah, politics is really silly.
  7. I agree. Out of all the folks involved with that organization he's the most palatable of the bunch. At least he actually knows something about baseball and his bias isint that overt.
  8. Maggs by a nose over the Big Skirt. OOOOOO-EEEEEEEE-OOOOOOO
  9. Make him the 5th starter and let Wright take the 4th slot. Or Go out and try to find a better replacement and send him packing.
  10. It was a different guy back in '93 Someone named Sheik Omar Abdul Rahman or something along those lines. We caught him and threw him in the slam for keeps from what I remember.
  11. If I didn't support the Constitution then why would I be wearing the uniform I do? That being said would you please explain to me how the U.S. Constitution protects people who do not live in and are not citizens of this country? Also would you explain to me why you people fall all over yourselves to ensure that FOREGINERS who actively plot and execute attacks against American civillians and soldiers get all the same rights that the people the constitution is supposed to protect have? The Reagan Administration supported the Afghan Mujahadeen in a proxy war against the Soviets the same as the Soviets did against us in Vietnam. I have no problem with that. An enemy of my enemy is my friend. Of course they decided to turn against us after that war ended and we left and therein lies the danger of such a policy but it still was worth the risk to drive the final nails in the coffin of the Soviet Union.
  12. I'll buy that.
  13. Here's a pro-Kerry poster I can live with..

THIS IS A JOKE! Several reasons guns are better than women. 1. You can trade an old 44 for a couple of 22's 2. You can keep one handgun on the road and one at home 3. Your primary weapon doesn't care if you have a backup 4. Your gun will stay with you even if you're out of ammo 5. A gun doesn't take up a lot of closet space 6. Guns function normally every day of the month 7. A gun doesn't ask .. "do these new grips make me look fat?" 8. A gun doesn't mind of you go to sleep right after using it 9. You can buy a silencer for a handgun. THIS IS A JOKE!
  15. Is this the same Bin Laden that Sudan wanted to hand over to us back in 1996 and Clinton told them to go bug off? Just checking in case there is more than one terrorist mastermind by that name.
  16. What a surprise....he's french.
  17. Maybe I wasn't too clear. I did mention the fact that he sliced off 8 full divisions, and I dont know how many Air Force combat wings. Did he shut us down.......no. Did he weaken us......hell yes and that's why we dont have enough soldiers to carry out our missions in the war on terrorism.
  18. Capture = more death Missile = surgical hit If you tried to capture the guy with a commando raid that would have led to a street fight with his security detail & a lot of people would have died & it would have had the effect of swatting a fly with a sledge hammer. You guys whine all the time about civillian deaths but doing the surgical hit with a missile is a lot less deadly to the innocent than starting a gun battle right there on a crowded street.
  19. Hence the popularity of fox news and talk radio. People are tired of the left wing slant to the "mainstream media" these days.

The Osprey was a piece of s*** that got people killed. Agreed. The Comanche helicopter was a multi year, multi billion dollar waste of money. Agreed. But. Consider this. The Bradley fighting vehicle and the M1A1 tank, the 2 most powerful fighting vehicles in the world and proven many times over in combat, were also " boondoggles" and "favors to cronies". ( They made a movie parodying the development of the Bradley if I am not mistaken ) The point I'm trying to make is that weapons development is going to benefit somebody. Those evil corporations who are constantly derided as war profiteers have developed the weapons that make our military second to none and saved countless thousands of American lives in battle. Talk to the soldier I saw in Iraq who was shot twice in the chest from an AK 47 and came out of it with 2 small bruises if the company that made his body armor was an evil war profiteer.

I've heard how you'd like to deal with Al Queda and other terrorist groups many times & let me say again that taking money away from the defense budget and handing it to them and begging them to forgive us for our infidel ways is certainly not "focusing on Al Queda".
  22. Let the fun begin for the Lovable losers. I predict they have a 500 season at best & ESPN will forget they exist by the all star break.
  23. So it was the GOP's fault? Clinton mothballs the military and hamstrings the CIA and tells Sudan to bug off when they offered to hand us Bin Laden back in 1996 allowing the threat from Islamic terrorism to grow and it was the GOP's fault? Do you even believe what you say sometimes?
