Say what you want about Keenan, he got results and he made hockey fun to watch in this town. His philosophy was sound. If you didn't play hockey well then you sat, if you didn't put out then you sat & it didnt matter a damn who you were or what you got paid. Also, the players stuck up for each other. I cant begin to count the number of times I saw guys like Zhamnov or Karpflopsev or Daisy just stand by while a teammate got clobbered.

I wish we still had that "tub-o-goo".

I think that they play the same teams roughly the same amount of times each season and that they need to play their ass off regadless of where they are playing or who.

I hate to break it to ya but paying someone 40 grand a year to stock shelves or ring up a few DVD's is not going to happen nor should it. If someone wants a high paying job then let em go to college or trade school and learn something that is in enough demand for a commensurate salary.

Pully and Tallon and their crack scouting staff are all set to draft the next Christian Laflamme or Daniel Cleary from somewhere. Their drafting ability doesn't exactly inspire a lot of confidence in me cause since Jeremy Roenick was drafted in 1988 I can easily count on 1 hand the number of high draft picks that have actually panned out.

Personally I like having a Wal-mart around. When it's midnight & I need to go grab something I can just haul ass over there and get it. Do I care about the pay and benefits they have for their workers? No. But I do like having a place that's open when I'm actually free to go shop there.
