  1. That's the other thing, the story about the woman who impersonated the girl who disappeared 17 years ago or whatever, that story was second. And CS1 that's a good point about the glasses, the kid next to her doesn't seem to be wearing them. Exactly what kind of kids are they raising out in Kansas City anyway?
  2. no problem, it is somewhat selfish anyway, since a) i have to go find the info and learn it myself, and b ) i love talking about college footbal.
  3. but i went to the KC star site to see what the other side thought about the sox recent wins, and this front page just made me laugh out loud. it reminded me of something you'd see in the onion. yellow bar inserted by me for emphasis.

yes i have it, it can do that any many other magical things.
  6. Thursday night, and late Saturday night. It's especially fun to watch when it starts snowing up in the mountains. Sapp has moved on but four of their o-lineman are back, and their two backs, Rashaan Sanders and Tristan Walker should be adequate.
  7. Osuna's ERA is 2.56 for the Yankees as a set-up man, and his 8.81 K/9 is actually better than Rivera's. His WHIP is 1.42 cause he walks too many people, but I'd still take it.
  8. If I were living in Vegas without a team, I'd jump on the Colorado St bandwagon. Van Pelt is the real deal, the Rams should be good this year, and UNLV's gonna suck. But regardless, I love the WAC/Mt. West conferences, they seem to play so wide open, nobody respects them, and they produce some damn good teams (Air Force, Fresno St., etc.)
  9. other notables on the o'brien list... chris rix, carlyle holiday, and matt lovecchio jr (indiana)
  10. I think it's quite obvious he is.

I asked that same question last year in July, and this year in July. But I had nothing to do last night and I just figured I'd get it out of the way. As far as the weekly picks, I would play but there'd have to be a limit on the number of the games cause there's a ton every week, and maybe some sort of odds system, since there isn't as much parity in college as there is in the NFL. And there's already going to be a third year of NFL picks so it might be tough to get two sets in. Ahunno, maybe we could make a soxtalk group for the ESPN college game, they seem to have a good system. Also thanks to everyone who liked it and said so.
  14. 4 ACC teams in the top 25 (in the top 17, actually), just as I predicted. B)
  15. Theo coulda had a whole year of Colon for Fossum and Hillenbrand. Now he gives up Sanchez for two months of Suppan.
  16. Worcester native JP Riccardi! New england runs major league baseball. The Pirates GM, Dave Littlefield is a good one too I think. He managed to get rid of Ramirez and he signed Suppan in the offseason, now he can deal him to a contender for some prospects.

Well you can either buy it (it's expsensive though), or I have heard rumors of some people being able to download it, though I have nothing to do with that.

ah I use adobe photoshop most of the time. it is somewhat hard to learn at first, but once you get used to the system it makes alot of things easier.

Yeah at first I was gonna use pickett, roberson, roy williams and kellen winslow jr, but i put pickett and roberson on first and the idea of putting all #3's was staring me right in the face. so i looked up some rosters and tried to get a good #3 from each conference. however, nobody good in the ACC (and only jackson in the SEC) seems to like the number three. so i wound up going west to east with five different conferences. that is the superdome in the background btw, it is kinda hard to make out.

  21. You mean you agree? I think he means this is one player he likes. And why the hell are you so bitter all the time? Is it really going to hurt the Sox if Glover does well?

I will not get into these bulls*** word games. Both of your attitudes on the subject make me sick.
  23. I knew that he worked for the Boston Globe, but I had NO idea that the Boston Globe was located in Boston OR that the Red Sox played there!!!! Fact of the matter is, Gammons is an imbecile who is almost NEVER correct about anything he says. And he looks like a gerbil. And he is 112 years old. Also, I don't care about Phil Rogers - maybe if Phil Rogers was flapping his loose jowels on ESPN television instead of pecking away at his PC for espn.com, I'd have more of an opinion about him. Well everyone acts so shocked when he talks about Boston all the time. It's like they can't put 1 and 1 together.

Especially since in the third game of the season, KC scored 7 runs in the eighth against the Sox to take it from 6-5 Sox to 12-6 Royals.
