  1. I'm not up on the Chicago radio scene, but anyone else who caught Around the Horn yesterday saw a pretty hilarious job by Woody Paige of mocking Marriotti. He taped these giant eyebrows to his face, everyone was cracking up.
  2. What the hell is a slub?
  3. No, he said who won the entire thing, the big tournament, but I edited his post in case someone else came and read this thread that didn't want to know. And Cheat, so what if you told a month ago. That doesn't make it right, and it doesn't make witesoxfan right now.
  4. don't be ridicules there's more than a few who can spell it right.
  5. What a f***ing idiot, why would you tell people who won?
  6. I guess they will explain that they are the New York Post and they are trash.
  7. Dorn was a chode; I'd get either Hayes, Vaughn or Taylor. But I agree that ML2 was total crap. The PG-13 aspect means it can't be nearly as funny as the original.

haha I noticed that quote in your sig, and I couldn't remember when I said it. I found it in the Flames win thread, and I'm pretty sure I had done a little at the time. No hard feelings right?
  9. I agreed with Jim's comment on your warning not being enough, so I did some editing of the title. Hope you don't mind.
  10. I dunno I thought it was pretty hilarious. It was a bit harsh but it's not like Ben Davis has ever accomplished anything in his entire career.

No don't leave out the top 25. I'd prolly join anyway, honestly, but not being able to be FSU would be really lame.

Yeah I'm pretty sure RJ is a ten-five player. He doesn't have to leave if he doesn't want to.

The gameplay is definitely different. It's impossible to make a sharp cut in Madden, it's like running on ice. And they have crappy physics, the way players bump into each other most of the time without having animations is weak. That, and you can't play defense. Every game I play in Madden is like 57-50.
  14. Hey MTV cribs at the playboy mansion is on.
  15. At the very least it gets Buehrle off the hook.
  16. Holy f***ing s*** yes.
  17. Nice job Harris, way to get in front of it.

Well, people telling you are wrong is not talking s***. Stuff like, WE WILL SEE WHO'S RIGHT IN 2007 :fyou is

Do you understand the concept of talking s***?
  20. I still loved it last year when he was talking about John Lackey "John Lackey wins because he just goes out there and gives you all he's got. He wins because he's so gutsy, he never gives up. And also, he has a good slider."

Remember last year we all voted for Frank from beginning to end and he still lost by like 18 million votes.
  22. No I think the K/history thing was about takatsu.
  23. I am dumbfounded by this whole thing, and though I wasn't gonna be able to watch anyway because I work nights, I'm not even gonna bother to tape it. It's been said before, but I'll say it again. Get rid of the fan voting and get rid of the "every team needs a rep" rule, because this s*** ends up pissing off more people than it pleases. Even more necessary now because of this stupid home-field advantage rule. Has baseball ever done anything logical though? They've destroyed a whole franchise in Montreal, when nobody thought it could get any worse. Somehow the geniuses that run this sport found a way.
  24. He decided to sit out the third game in New York, then late in the game when everyone was up standing at the edge of the dugout he was the only one sitting on the bench. They need to trade him, they've been awful since he came back.
  25. 07-Nov-00: Toronto Blue Jays traded Gary Glover to the Chicago White Sox for pitcher Scott Eyre. So that part was not wrong at least.
