The Manager sets the example belive it or not. Manuel looks stoned half the time while Scossia got his team to the ws. And what happened with the playoff debut of JM? Yeah, the bats were quiet, but when it came to managing, Lou made him look like a little league coach. It's not just Manuel either. it's the idiots that surround this team. Ward, Kimm, And the morons who were fired last year for the current morons at 1st and 3rd. This team does not have fun playing baseball. just look at them. that start from the top if you ask me.

1 word : MOTIVATION! These guys should be able to motivate themselves, but they carry themselves like the manager does. No life what so ever . They need a change and i'm sure it wont be the 25 guys on the roster. Axe Manuel!

I'm not trying to start s*** here, but I seem to recall that a LOT of people here ( not everyone, of course ) were VERY happy with all of KW's moves over the winter. Koch, Colon, Daubach and Loaiza - they were all good moves on paper. Not to everyone, obviously, since someone somewhere must've been upset when even Clayton was let go! Hell, even my guy RPS was asking if KW had become a real GM at long last!! Remember THAT, Mike??? Things just haven't worked out....again....as usual. Optimist says - It's still the first week of May Pessimist says - The Sox haven't shown me much yet everything KW touches turns to s*** evenif it looks like a great trade for the team on paper. lol

I'm impressed with the way he's managed the team over the past week weather it's because the press got him to show a little more fire or supposedly being on the hotseat. Not that he has to get tossed out of every game, but it's nice to see him argueing calls . And i was surprised by last night's move of pulling Koch. I honestly didnt think he had it in him and i agree 100% with the move. Switching Lee and Konerko was a good idea, now he just needs to move frank down weather frank likes it or not. He's NOT a #3 hitter anymore. And he has let pitchers go longer then the norm including Wunsch. Just wanted to speak my piece without reading through 15 pages of posts because i'm lazy and dont have time. I still want Wally Backman here though.

This team looks as motivated and aggressive as Manuel Does. Now where does that come from? This team is way too flat for the talent they have and I dont care what anyone says, Jerry is a BAD manger. He sucked in 2000. That team won in spite of him it seemed. he f***ed up a lot by tinkering. If they majority of your games are won by a score of 15-10, how much control does the manager have then? That what they did in 2000 and havent showed that offense since. Jerry sucks and needs to be fired yessterday. Wally Backman can get thius team moving int he right direction quickly. Now there's a motivator/ass kicker. Just the guy we need.
