I was there last night and there was a lot more then 1200 . Alot of people were hiding in the stadium club or in the bullpen sports bar since the weather was s***ty.

I cannot belive you just posted that vince. Dont you remember when we were almost the Sarosota Sox? When Jerry held the city hostage unless he got a new stadium and the TAXPAYERS paid for it. Notice how all the retired numbers are down now? You know why? Becaus rhtey're not making him any money! He dont give a s*** about Chicago. Where ever he can get people to pay for his franchize is where he'll go. He and Eddie paid 20 mill for this team and the first thing they did was make the fans pay to watch them on tv. and now the organization pays for it because a lot of kids didnt watch the Sox growing up. The Cubs were always on tv but not the Sox. I was able to watch because my father was a season ticket holder and "Ontv" customer. You cant walk 5 feet in that park without a f***ing banner in your face. JR has never spent money the right way in this town. With all teh advertising, we should at least be able to keep up with the Yankees. They dont have banners everywhere. They have an owner that makes money by spending it on the team then gettin git back, not waiting for sponsors to pay it. And for all this :fyou jerry!

Anyone Notice Colon stretching in the dugout last night before the 9th inning? He was stretching his elbow and writs out and his fingers were shaking like a freak. Usually that's a sign of injury. But Colon is a freak of nature who gets better as the game goes on so i may just be paronoid.

Young people who ruin their lives by doing stupid stuff like this likely didn't have bright futures ahead of them anyway, so they might as well break the law at a young age and end up behind bars where they belong. that's not so true. I know a lot of kids that were f*** ups growing up and turned it around when they had to make it for themselves. I had my days of trouble, never got caught ripping anything off, but young kids do stupid s***. It's up to them to grow out of it. Some do, some dont.

I dont care about the averages as much as ob% and timely hitting.they still strand way too many runners with those numbers. I didnt realize how well some of the guys are hitting though.

I'm still not sure about Valentine though. He seems to be in love with the camera more then anything.

Maybe he didnt want to go to his bullpen because there's nothing there? Torborg used to use the bullpen a lot when he was here. Not like Manuel, but he tried to use Wayne Edwards, Barry Jones and always had to bring in Thigpen. Makes a difference when you have a good bullpen.

Torborg wouldnt be as valuable with the way the Sox are built now. He needs speed. Everyone says how JM is a small ball manager.......... JT makes it happen. I dont see it with Manuel. THe 1990 Sox were a great team and i was kinda pissed they went in a different direction after Torborg was fired. Give JT speed, defense and decent pitching, he can make it happen. IF JT was to manage here again, they'll need to trade some people. I doubt they'll change the make up of this team. Sox have been trying t build a power house lineup with decent pitching no defense and a slow team for so long, the f***in bone heads still cant realize that's not what wins baseball.
