That ain't right...

It's all about the South Side folks. It's what separates us from "them." I grew up in the NW suburbs, but both my parents grew up around old Comiskey, and we spent a ton of time at the ol' park as kids and ol' Chicago Stadium. I'm damn proud to be a White Sox fan and damn proud to be part of a community of fans that actually give a s*** about baseball. We shouldn't recreate Cubbyville. They can have their loveable loser reputation and yuppie fans.

Hawk wasn't kidding when he said this team would be fun to watch.

That's funny. An hour ago I sent my brother an e-mail that simply stated, "I hate baseball."

Wow. I was listening earlier to streaming feed and shut it off. I kept my real-time ESPN update on though. Thank goodness. I was able to hear that great comeback. It's still hard to tell how this season will end up. But, one thing is for sure. This team (under Ozzie) certainly doesn't quit.

I will be in my office here in beautiful Boulder, Colorado 1,000 miles from the Cell listening to the streaming feed and writing some damn trial brief. Enjoy the festivities for us out-of-towners. Go White Sox!

I was ready to have Ozzie pull him during the walk-fest but the defense came thru and now Jon is dealing again. This may be the kind of thing that gets Jon over the hump for the year. He now knows that Ozzie will be patient with him.
