The problem with frank is with his agression. He's not an agressive hitter and he gets stuck thinking too much about his swing, which slows his bat down just a bit, and that keeps him from being more explosive.

I'm with ya wsf

Brando is right in pretty much all aspects in regards to this season. I wouldn't blame JM that much for it, but I think he will be the scapegoat and I think this team needs a manager with some more fire in his veins. Backman or Valentine imo. The only thing I think JM could really of done different is been more agressive on the paths, but otherwise he's been solid with the pen etc, even though most would disagree with me on that. If you want to blame someone blame our offense and Koch.

Didn't see any of the games against Seattle, other then the first two innings of Saturday's game, but prior to that Konerko was looking a whole lot better and hopefully he can keep building on that.
-
Munoz has had a few straight good outings.
-
Yep, they answered your question very quickly, lol.

Frank should be hitting in the 5 hole with Carlos in the 3 hole. I'd actually rather have Thomas in the 6 hole, but I'll let Konerko be there. I really want to see Harris stick and then we can move Jose back in the 6 hole and Konerko in the 7 or Thomas in the 7 and then Crede and Olivo/Alomar.

Well a loss and I really do think he will be canned.

I had my 1210 and that was that. I agree with Apu, they put too much emphasis on it.

Gagne is absolutely amazing. Boy, if only we could of suckered them into that so called Howry for Gagne swap a year ago. I know Baggs and I were drooling over that way back then. Gagne is absolutely amazing.

Cameron hits a bases loaded double and knocks in three more. He now has a 3 run homer and a 3 run double totalling six RBI in the game.
-
Bottom of the 1st (3-0 Mariners) -Harris had a base stolen but Frank fouled it off -Thomas rips one and it goes about 6 inches foul down the left field line. Would of been a two run homer. He absolutely hammered it. -Thomas grounds out on ball four. Willie was in motion though so Willie is on second. -Konerko grounds out to second to end the inning. Magglio isn't playing today.
-
Sox gave up 3 runs in the first inning. Didn't have it on so not sure how. Harris had a base hit with one out and Thomas is at the plate right now. Also, come on into the chatroom http://whitesox.theinsiders.com/3/chat.html

How good is Anthony supposed to be? I remember hearing something about him, but not too much.

Well, I don't know if anyone else noticed this, but this post has only 5 replies and over 1600 hits and I think it could of been us that crashed their server, lol, cause it isn't letting me take the test saying the server has received too many hits.

Happy Bday both of you. Hope you have an awesome day and that a Sox win helps make it more complete

Minor League Recaps - May 2nd Games By Mike Doyle May 3, 2003 SoxNet.net Charlotte’s Knights Stadium doubled as a bandbox yesterday, as the Knights and Rochester Red Wings combined to hammer out ten home runs in a 16-6 Knights loss. Knights starter Jon Rauch started off the home run barrage in the first, giving up a two run bomb to first baseman Justin Morneau. Aaron Miles hit a homer of his own in the bottom half on the inning to cut the Red Wing lead down to one. Not much went well after Miles’ homerun, as the Red Wings rocked the Knights bullpen for 12 runs in four innings. Felix Diaz (2-2) took the loss for the Knights, giving up two gopher balls of his own. Relievers Ryan Kohlmeier and Gary Majewski did not fare any better, giving up one home run each. The Knights offense did well, but was obviously no match for the Red Wings. Scott Morgan and Jamie Burke both smashed home runs in the 4th, giving the Knights a short-lived 5-4 lead. Joe Borchard was the only Knights batter without a hit on the night. The Knights will try to rebound from the bludgeoning they received last night, sending Danny Wright to the hill. If Wright does well, expect him to be promoted fairly soon. Managing only six hits, the Barons offense was AWOL again as the Barons fell to the Orlando Rays 6-1. Brian West (1-2) had yet another sub par outing, giving up nine hits and five earned runs in six innings of work. West also walked three, but struck out two. Lefthander Dennis Ulacia could not stop the bleeding, as he gave up an earned run in his one inning of work. It is unknown whether Ulacia has been demoted from the Barons rotation, or if the bullpen needed rest. Royce Ring pitched a scoreless 8th, lowering his ERA to 0.73. There were close to no highlights for the offense, as only Gabe Alvarez, Jon Acevas, and Josh Shaffer could muster hits off of the Rays. Alvarez drove in the lone run for the Barons. Birmingham will try to get even with the Rays tonight, as Neal Cotts (4-0) will take the mound for the Barons. After winning his first four games of the year, Cotts suffered a no-decision his last time out, yielding only one earned run while striking out 11 batters in 6+ innings. The Warthogs could not improve upon their stellar record this year, as their game versus Wilmington was rained out. The rained out game will be made up as a part of a doubleheader tonight. Starters have yet to be announced. The Intimidators game versus Delmarva was also postponed due to rain. No make-up date for the rained out game has been announced. Kannapolis will take on Hagerstown tonight, with starters yet to be announced.

Check it out during the game. You may of been in the older chatroom. I just updated the links so now every chat link there is to the new chatroom. http://whitesox.theinsiders.com/3/chat.html During the game people are typically in there. If it gets ugly though, usually most people head off cause they can't stand seeing the Sox get killed. Hopefully that won't be the case tonight.

Lol, sounds like the Yanks got a swell deal in Delvis. That has to tick them off. Then again how ticked can you be when he would never figure into their plans anyway.
