  1. Question, is Whitesox.com working right now? Or have I been banned? I know one thing, the main page won't even load for me, while all the other mlb sites will.

    my weekly what's up

Hey Cali You missed the most rain California has had in the past couple years or at least where I am. We got a whopping 3/4's of an inch or so. Its all windy here with Santa Ana's so enjoy the rest of your stay in Florida.
  3. I don't think he'll get drafted, I know that much.
  4. Foulk isn't supposed to play. I know one thing, I smell an ass whooping and it ain't going to be the Bears doing the kicking. On a side note, Bulger is officially starting for me on my fantasy team. He put up 42 points for me on the bench while Griese had 9.
  5. Peoria is 22-13 Tim Hummel has picked things up big time as he's gotten his average up to .254. He hasn't hit a homer and he's struck out 9 times in 73 at bats. Hummel had been hitting under .200 most of the way and it had the Sox questioning just how good of a future he may have. Jon Adkins is 1-2 with an era of 4.00 in 6 starts(7 games). The one daggering stat is that he's given up 36 hits in 27 innings of work. My theory is, his numbers are better then he's pitched. Gary Majewski is 3-0 with a 2.21 era in 12 games. Many people forgot we got him back in the JB deal, but he was nasty this season and is continuing his nastiness in the fall league. He's struck out 17 in 20 innings. Lefty Dave Sanders is 6-0 with a .95 era and all of a sudden the Sox may just consider him for a lefty slot in the bullpen. He's thrown 19 innings, giving up 16 hits, striking out 13. Lefthanded starter Josh Stewart has also had a great fall league. He's 1-0 with a .95 era in 8 games(7 starts). He's pitched 28.1 innings, striking out 22, while giving up just 23 hits. Valentine was shutdown for the rest of the fall league for precautionary measures. He was 0-0 with an era of 9.00 in 3 games. The Sox pitchers sure have some impressive stats considering how Arizona is considered a hitters area that typically inflates a hitters stats.

    Holy Hell

    Haaa Gary......:****
  7. I like Hawk a whole lot, but I don't really like DJ. He's a smart guy, but he seems like way too much of a kiss ass. I'm thinkin we already have one puppet in the booth in Hawk, so I'd like to see the Sox try to bring in an analyst who simply knew his stuff and wasn't afraid of what others would think or if he would offend management.
  8. I think I brought this up a couple months back when their was an article talking about Hawk and saying how young fans don't like hearing him and that the Sox could use a change in the booth. Well, I wanted to see what everyone else thought on this subject. Should Hawk step down or should the Sox keep DJ and Hawk?
  9. Lol, I'm going to have to add a feature where its really easy to attach all those photos and we can have a whole KW gallery. I know it would get a ton of use, lol.
  10. I definately think KW will watch this board, but I don't fear a think from the White Sox. We don't have their logo or any of their copyrighted stuff used anywhere on this page and are doing all we can to make sure it won't be seen at Soxnet. The only true logo's that will be seen are those that we have created or those where the Sox logo shows via a jersey. Stupid MLB and the Sox trying to close down places where the fans can voice their opinions so we can all become their puppets.
  11. Gary, don't even think of mentioning Jauron being back next year, cause I think we all know he will never fire his assistants and they are whats killing him. As far as Miller goes, at least you finally are seeing the light. Miller shouldn't be out their risking his career(He's a good guy and I'll always root for him) but he doesn't have near the arm strenght to do it and we aren't playing for anything. Lets see what this new guy Sauer can do or let Burris the joke play and get our #1 pick.
  12. I think the right people won in both leagues. I was thinkin Arod would win it, but Tejada was the one who deserved it and he got it.
  13. I want to see that Sig. I'll go on over their and make a post about the place right now. Hopefully you guys and gals can join in pubbin the place.
  14. SN Report: Sox Senior VP Jack Goulds Dies Also Sox Ace Buerhle Suffers Bruise in Japan All Star Game Its sad news to see Jack Goulds die. He's been in the Sox organization a long time and I wish his family the best.
  15. I think thats because those stats only start from like 15 minutes ago when the modification/program was placed in. I'm sure when more people from out of the country come here it will change. If it doesn't, then it just gives me a little more modifying to do.
  16. The new stats page is up. Check it out and tell me what you think of it.

    Holy Hell

Earlier today we had a ton of guests on as well and plenty of members. I think we are getting more popular, or so thats what I hope.
  19. Where does that feeling come from. He himself said he wanted to leave. I thought he was replying to someone telling to him and he said it sarcasticly or something like that. I dunno, I'm confused now.
  20. If they do, I'm going treasure huntin :metal
  21. Plus, The Expos are looking to dump salary, not pick it up.
  22. I don't think he was saying he hated America. I think their are many thing he doesn't like and whether we agree him or not, I got a feeling he likes America quite a bit.
  23. Thats right, I forgot about Sammy. He's the one guy we gave up that really turned into a superstar.
  24. I'm just saying, what did Mckay do that was so great? What did Fernandez do that was so great after he injured himself. I mean Blackjack flicked the fans off in New York and he never amounted to a hill of beans after he left. Ya, we've lost guys, but they haven't went on to have MVP seasons or all of a sudden turn into studs. We haven't had Pedro Martinez trades like the Dodgers did. We haven't let someone like Greg Maddux leave at his prime, but if Buerhle goes, then I would compare it to that.
