  1. Lot people complained about Spiez, but the guy is a gold glover and plays with heart. Spiezo reminds me of Rowand on our team.
  2. Whoohoo, 4-0. Spiezo with a single and Anderson scored. Anderson wouldn't of scored had he not tagged and moved into second after a deep flyout by Troy Glaus.
  3. Awesome Play by Bengie Gil and it now goes to the top of the 3rd.
  4. I'll try not to, I just keep rubbing my Angel hat. :metal

I'm not saying give up on Porzio, but we give up on one of Wunsch and Porzio. Foulke may not want to be mid relief, but he isn't fussing about it or asking to be traded. Lets just see what he does. We can't just go out and count on these youngsters in the pen cause if they fail then we would be screwed.

Foulkie don't whine. I'm with you, Valentine and Almonte should be here but that should be at the expense of Ginter and Porzio not Foulke.
  7. Yep 3-0 Now. I've been telling all my buds this is the key game cause the Angels will win tomorrows, so they need to win today that way come Saturday when I'm at the game they'll be going for the series win.
  8. Runners on the corners now, Bengie Molina, the man slower then PK rips a single and Woot hustles into 3rd.
  9. Woot Dog picks up a single. Way to go Woooooootttt!!!!
  10. Yep, wasn't it Justice for Ventura and then the Mets traded him to the A's. YESSS, 2-0 Angels. Go Spazz Go. Spiezo hits a solo shot.

You don't just lose it mentally. Keith did great the end when he had his few save opportunities as well. Did people say Rivera lost it after he blew a save last year to finish the world series, heck no. Sometimes your going to hit a couple week skid, we were just spoiled casue Keith hadn't done it before.
  12. If he could play second, I'd be calling for him to comeback. Robin is awesome, but he's got to suck it up this series unless the Yanks are down by 10 runs.

They aren't going to make him a starter though. How can you say the guy sucks, look at his career numbers, they have to be some of the best active numbers of all relievers.
  14. Crapola, that ball was mashed by Bernie, thank goodness Darin was there. Now come on Appier, one more out in this inning.
  15. Is Jeter Mr. October now? He is pretty amazing. Come on Appier get out of this inning.
  16. I'm shocked we are keeping Propert. He's been around ever since I can remember as our "thug".
  17. In case anyone wants to go on any rants. I mean it is post season baseball and those damn Yanks have got to lose. YESSS, Timmaayy hits a home run and its 1-0 Angels with two outs in the top of the first.

How can you say that about Keith. He barely blew a game as the closer with the exception of the start of this year. The guy was pretty much the best closer in the majors for two seasons.

It should go the distance, imo.
  20. Humell is a guy I really like and think will pan out. The question is will he learn enough in Arizona to make it to the majors. Last spring Humell impressed, but Ray Ray was here and people pretty much had him pencilled in to start this season. Then he had his terrible AAA campaign. The question is what kind of a spring would he have to have to make it with the Sox.

Someone just posted, it was like a .29 era after June or July. Thats amazing. Those are numbers we shouldn't complain about, whether he's closing or setting up. The guy doesn't complain and flat out pitches and has a rubber arm(Knock on Wood). You can never have too many relievers, trust me on that. Look at the Yanks, Angels, Twins, and Mariners last year. They all have strong relief corps.

Ya, I don't have that kind of pressure. When I eat out, I just try to have sandwhiches or something not fried or red meat. I love burgers, I just cook them at home. So far its work, lost like 10 pounds of fat, so I'm right where I wnat to be to put on about 10 pounds of muscle mass. I figure when its all set and done right around 165-170.

Like I say our roster will fit great. Let Foulke stay here until the deadline where we then package him after we figure out that Almonte and Valentine can do it at the major league level. Then in 2 years look for Ring to be coming up as well.
  24. I hope harris or Hummel do get enough where they can take 2nd with jimenez at short.
  25. Chisoxfn replied to LDF's topic in Pale Hose Talk
I agree with you on that. It will never happen, but if I was one of those owners and I hear the trib is looking to buy, then I'd take advantage and sell sell sell. You could get peak dollar for it if they want it that bad.
