  1. Ya, you missed one of our moderators locked the thread on accident and then I removed it cause whatever happened it eneded up getting moved to a place that didn't exist, making it disapear.
  2. Thank you Michell and Thank you Heather. It looks like the women on the most part are carrying the sense in this thread. I am with Doublem as well, Backman is much much better. Valentine is a bum, plain and simple and he makes JM look good. If you think JM uses a lot of lineups just wait till you see Valentine cause he does the same.
  3. It won't happen. I just can't see the Cub fans allowing management to go after a manager that no one has heard of. At least Macha has been heard of.
  4. It's still to early to call the Bears season. and your going to be wrong.
  5. I think thats right.
  6. Yep Matt, I went with all the underdogs although a lot of people don't consider the Cardinals an underdog.
  7. Just say no to Valentine. If you think the Sox underachieved look at the Mets. Valentine is and always will be a bum.
  8. I don't think he's going anywhere. The Sox won't let him leave the Cubs. Look for him to come up with the Sox coaching staff this season and I think he's going to eventually be manager and not of the Cubs.
  9. I think we are all confused, lol.

Well the general part of the board was made by a site and then I"ve done a lot of customizing on it using php on my own. I'm a novice at php so I don't know much and most of the time I have to go searching on how to do things, lol So far its been pretty hard, at least compared to html.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say Zhamnov. By the way, how does this waiver think work? I've never heard of something like this.

Right now I'm mixed on the issue. I think George will do an excellent job if we go into battle and a lot of me wants us to, but I also tend to think about things a lot and I know we are already hated in the middle east and I think we need to start doing things to make the US not say hated over there.

    Talk about an initiation beating.
  14. I don't really have a clue about that league, but ocassionally guys come out of the independent league and end up turning into something, but it is pretty rare. I'm not sure who Seattle signed so they could of ended up signing guys they had drafted but that had held out as well.
  15. I'm wondering the same thing BJ.

But they won't be in there next year. Butter is going to AAA again, Porzio the same with Wunshc possibly making it and Ginter, goodbye. Glover, Osuna, Marte, Foulke, Valentine, Biddle. Thats sounds pretty good to me, we just need to find another lefty, imo.

Damn, thats the longest url I've ever seen.
  18. Well after the Twins upset the A's it won't be considered as crappy,

Cause I don't like Billick, I don't like Ray Lewis and I hate hearing how great that defense is. Oh ya, they had 31-3 lead without having a reception to a reciever or at least thats what I thought I heard.
  20. I'm just at Cal State Fullerton and your right I have never heard of it, but all I know is college is so much better then highschool. :metal
  21. What college are ya at. I probably should know what college is in Peoria, but since I'm in California I have an excuse. Its great having ya here.

It better be just you and Ian and I hope your both wrong Miller looked good most of the year, but against the Bills he sucked. Oh ya, and Booker sucked too. He blew an easy touchdown catch that would of won the game while Terrell made some big catches as well as blocks. DT is clutch.
  23. Its one reason why I like our chances next year. Cleveland blows, Detroit blows and KC blows. If we handle our division and play good against the Twins as well as play good against the bottom feeders like the Drays, Blue Jays, Rangers, and Orioles(I know they are decent) then we will easily have a shot at the division and should win it. Of course our easy schedule could very well help us get the wild card cause some teams like Boston and New York and then Oakland, Seattle and Anaheim will all be beating eachother up.
  24. I'm going to answer this for Heather or at least attempt to. I think that all the other people in the contest as well as lurkers or posters that may not have the time or whatever to answer the contest will all be reading and looking and they may end up filling in the right answer if someone ends up giving falty info.

Its not the gm that works cheap, its Jerry Reinsdorf. I have plans to one day become a multi millionaire, but I fear that I won't be able to afford the White Sox and a good salary unless I'm a billionaire. Man, I have to first find a source of lots of money and then start investing. Now as far as our lineup goes. I like our pitching if we get one more starter and KW swears by the fact that we will and one thing I've learned from him is usually when he says he's going to do something he at least tries. The Bullpen is set in my opinion and our offense is going to be good cause we have Konerko, Maggs, Thomas and Caballo. Jimenez is impressive, Crede is impressive, but we can't guarnatee production out of either or at least have a good reason to expect it other then their potential. Olivo is also impressive, especially behind the plate while Rowand has played good since entering the starting lineup and does all the little things.
