Hey, what am I? Chopped liver? Doing an MBA is different then grad school for a PhD. Graduate school is so much different then undergrad - and often times the demographic is a LOT different. Older to younger, good cross section of women and men, and married and not. One thing that I find personally interesting is most of the people that are going through the MBA in my program are divorced or never married.

Because the database has a lot of junk in it which messes up the search functions. Read the site for about 5 minutes and look at people's signatures and the like, and you'll see plenty of logos.

Why did chicken cross the road ??? TEACHER: To get the other side. PLATO: For the greater good. ARISTOTLE: It is in the nature of chicken to cross roads. TIMOTHY LEARY: Because that's the only trip the establishment would let it take. SADDAM HUSSEIN: This was an unprovoked act of rebellion and we were quite justified in dropping 50 tons of nerve gas on it. RONALD REAGAN: I forget. CAPTAIN JAMES T. KIRK: To boldly go where no chicken has gone before. ANDERSSON CONSULTING: Deregulation of the chicken's side of the road was threatening it's dominant market position. The chicken was faced with significant challenges to create and develop the competencies required for the newly competitive market. Anderson Consulting, in a partnering relationship with the client, helped the chicken by rethinking it's physical distribution strategy and implementation process. Using the Poultry Information Model (PIM), Anderson helped the chicken to use it's skills, methodologies, knowledge, capital and experience to align the chicken's people, processes and technology in support of its overall strategy within a Program Management framework. Anderson Consulting convened a diverse cross-spectrum of road analysts and best chickens along with Anderson Consultants with deep skills in the transportation industry to engage in a two day itinerary of meetings in order to leverage their personal knowledge capital, both tacit and explicit goals of delivering and successfully architecting and implementing an enterprise-wide value framework across the continuum of poultry cross-median processes. The meeting was held in a park-like setting, enabling and creating an impactful environment which was strategically based, industry focused, and built upon a consistent, clear and unified market message aligned with chicken's mission, vision and core values. Anderson Consulting helped the chicken become more successful. We also charged a lot of money for stating the obvious. LOUIS FARAKAN: The road, you see represents the black man. The chicken "crossed" the black man in order to trample him and keep him down. MARTIN LUTHER KING Jr.: I envision a world where all chickens will be free to cross roads without having their motives called into question. FOX MULDER (X-files): You saw it cross the road with your own eyes. How many more chickens have to cross the road for you to believe it ? RICHARD M. NIXON: The chicken did not cross the road. I repeat, the chicken DID NOT cross the road. MACHIAVELLI: The point is that the chicken crossed the road. Who cares why ? The end of crossing the road justifies whatever motive there was. FREUD: The fact that you are at all concerned that the chicken crossed the road reveals your underlying sexual insecurities. BILL GATES: I have just released the new Chicken Office 2000 (with Internet Seed Explorer), which will not only cross roads, but will lay eggs, file your important documents and balance your checkbook. DARWIN: Chickens, over a great period of time, have been naturally selected in such a way that they are genetically disposed to cross roads. EINSTEIN: Whether the chicken crossed the road or the road moved beneath the chicken, depends upon your frame of reference. BUDDHA: Asking the question denies your own chicken nature. RALPH WALDO EMERSON: The chicken did not cross the road... it transcended it. ERNEST HEMINGWAY: To die. In the rain. Alone. COLONEL SANDERS: I missed one?

QUOTE(sox4lifeinPA @ Nov 2, 2005 -> 03:48 PM) there are a few constants in life.... I'll always be better looking than ss2k5 I'll always be smarter than Texsox and I'll always be funnier than kapkomet Yea, but I live someplace better then you.

QUOTE(Texsox @ Nov 2, 2005 -> 03:44 PM) It was good, and destined to be on a pro-life flier somewhere. Both sides, have the most crap filled, illogical, b.s., materials to further their cause. The extremist in this battle scare the crap out of me. Hey, wait a minute, BUCKO! That thought was ALL MINE.

QUOTE(ChiSoxyGirl @ Nov 2, 2005 -> 01:50 PM) No, I did that! I did follow the rice, but I didn't use crutches. I didn't walk much in the days after and I did wrap it, ice it and put it up. Crap. Maybe I should go back to the doctor? (sorry my parents are useless on this topic--and I figure someone else's parents can give me good advice.) I agree with everyone else's assessment. It's been too long and sounds like more then a simple sprain. So, go to the doctor. And make Texsox fly up there and take care of you.

SEE? It's all about ABORTION.
-
They're funny, and hip. So that will exclude you from the M-TV list.

QUOTE(FlaSoxxJim @ Nov 2, 2005 -> 03:37 PM) Serving only to muddy the waters, bear in mind that as much as 50% of normal pregnancies terminate in spontaneous abortion very early on and usually without the mother even knowing she was pregnant. For all the 'God's Will' folks, does this mean God is the perpetrator of more abortions than the combined totals of all the world's abortion clinics ever? The truth is these are really huge and tough ethical questions above and beyond the legal issues. I don't have any numbers handy, but I'm sure most of the women who get abortions are absolutely torn up over it. The image the pro-life camps paint that everybody getting abortions does so simply out of convenience and thinks nothing of the moral and emotional consequences is more of the fanciful black/white nonreality they have created for themselves. I know, Flaxx, I was just proud of myself for coming up with something so profound. It's a lot more tangled then that.

QUOTE(Texsox @ Nov 2, 2005 -> 03:31 PM) When Coke ups their budget, Pepsi has to follow. I found it laughable yesterday on Hannity, I didn't hear which Dem Senator Hannity had as a guest, but Hannity was fawning all over the guy because he was pro-Life. It goes back to something that LCR posted. If you are a GOP, you are Pro-Life, pro death penalty, and pro NRA. You can't be two out of the three. I agree, the GOP should take more of a leadership role in all that. But the Dems need to be talking about it also. I don't like blaming one party over another when bi-partisan would be in our best interests. Shame on the Republicans for basically tabling everything in the nation's interest, and shame on the Democrats for not having the balls to get a REAL message that would kick the Republican's ass out of Washington.

QUOTE(Texsox @ Nov 2, 2005 -> 03:22 PM) I don't think anyone, outside of an uber-pro-choice person would say an abortion isn't killing life. I believe the pro-choice crowd would tell you there is a difference in viable life. They would further point out that if you are equating a single cell organism and a baby, they have won. You probably would spray for cockroaches, kill ants, knock down a wasp nest. If you do these things, and you equate a single cell organism as human life, how can you not support a woman's right to decide what can and cannot grow inside her body? After all, if any single cell organisms = a human life, then we cannot even kill a weed. If we can kill a weed, we can kill a zygote. Dang it, you took all my fun away.
