  1. Well we already have ALOT of OF prospects and we have drafted some other OF prospects as well. The only ones in that group mentioned that I would hate to see let go are Sweeney and Young (believe it or not) The others dont excite me much but that's just me. BTW, I dont think we will give up ALL of those people but just making an example.
  2. We'll earlier I stated IMO who we could give up to pull it off from answering El Caballo's statement . QUOTE (El Caballo @ Jul 12 2004, 10:56 PM) He gave up our top prospect and our future catcher in a deal. He has already state it he wants to go for it. He has that mentality. I doubt we give up the whole farm system. We'll give them talent no doubt. I could see giving them some unlimited potential. I could see giving up a Rauch/C.Young/Sweeney/Diaz/Spidale like guys in the minors. They need OF prospects which we have a ton of. To me that wouldnt be a bad deal maybe even a "potentially good" major leaguer (like a Borchard/B.Davis throw-in)
  3. So many deserving.. It showed: Overbay, Thomas, J. Wilson, Konerko etc..
  4. Here's something interesting... Young's number's since that article was written.. AB-24 H-3 HR-0 SB-3 2B-1 W-5 SO-6 SLG- .258 Eeee... (at least he's walking more.. )
  5. Does that answer your question..

  7. HEY! That show was the s*** back then..
  8. Prediction: Within 2 years, he'll be on the map for being a top prospect for the sox.
  9. I hope Boston gets some good pitching in the cubs' farm system. A Sisco/Blasko/Vasquez type.

    Tejada

The same Tejada that just won the HR Derby..
  11. SuperSteve? Hong Kong? I feel sorry for the Chinese children..
  12. It was even Torre's fault by even considering Matsuito be on the 32 man. It's a f***ing joke. I hope Ozzie goes to the WS and puts the entire whitesox team for all-stars next season. That'll be f***ing sweet.
  13. Well.. A-Rod, Rivera (esp. him) are the only ones that should even be going to the ASG this year. Giambi, Jeter.. :puke And the Indians are on pase to finish with at least 80 wins should they have 5 reps from the Sox AND Twins? BTW, Matsui was voted in by the fans/world (from the people in Japan mostly) the others are from Torre. rolleyeyes.gif
  14. Naw he wasnt. When he hit that ball he ran hard to first. It was a line shot outta here. Uribe did the same but ran much harder.
  15. Corky just made it a 4-0 game.
  16. BTW, 1-0 Cub lead.. :headshake
  17. They dont even need to. They got some good pitching in their minor leagues which is makin some of the starts now expendable. If I were to choose.. Wood, yes (didnt they give him an extension?) Prior, no (too cocky) Zambrano, yes or no (he's a sox fan ) Clement, no (doubt the cubs want to.)
  18. Just came off and only saw some of it. I just saw when they had a rock- like heart split from the middle and they were making Alexander/Spears love in the sack..
  19. :headshake Uh.. we were 7 games back last year and nearly finished in 1st during the second half. Why dont we wait till The Cards have like a 20 game lead now shall we..?
  20. Hate to say it, but Wood is pitching pretty good right now.
  21. BTW, :fthecubs I'm watchin the Simpsons!!
