Wilder: "They wanted Borchard"

My Favortie minor leaguer (check the profile) I said keep an eye on him just when he was starting to rake it. He's showing why h could get a promotion if he keeps this up consistantly.- Wilder: "They wanted Borchard"
Please dont even bother argueing with SSI. He's done this to more than one person (ask Steff) He'll just keep twisting words and try to piss you off.- Wilder: "They wanted Borchard"
We were COMPARING THEM!!! :dips*** I said nothing about Borchard can just go to hell, he wont do s*** for us. All I was saying is Reed will have a better career. If Borchard proves me wrong I love every minute of eating crow, but like I said for the 20th time IN MY OPINION, Reed>Borchard and will have a better career..- Wilder: "They wanted Borchard"
He still wont get that.- Wilder: "They wanted Borchard"
Whatever.. and I'm done argueing for one day. I said my reasons and I let them be known. Everyone else has said theirs as well. All I can say is we will see. I'm done.- Wilder: "They wanted Borchard"
:headshake Believe what you want to believe.. So I'll say this.. what happens when one of them get's traded back here. Would you still talk s*** just because he was on another team putting up good numbers..- Wilder: "They wanted Borchard"
Who said anything about lovin the guy? I was a fan of his yes. Look at my profile then and you'll know I was a fan of a couple others (prospects and players) in the organization. Yes, he's gone, but that doesnt mean I could care less and talk s*** because he's in the organization anymore. I bet money that if Borchard was traded, you would find every detail to say why he was a bust and will suck it up just because he's not here anymore. IMO.. I'll say it agian IMO... Reed>Borchard and will have a better career.- Wilder: "They wanted Borchard"
So lets say Reed/Olivo (former whitesox orgaizational players) have good careers in Seattle. You wouldnt be a fan of theirs and wish them the best even if you didnt follow them closely..- Wilder: "They wanted Borchard"
In all honestly once, but that was when Reed wasn't well known in the organization. My name was J.Reedfan8 when he was heating up in Birm. I liked Reed cause he gave me his autograph (hopefully it'll be valuable in the future) (Oh and BTW Reed went 1-4 that day) I really didnt see much action from him eigher considering I was on a trip and was playing around with my little brother. Have you seen him play??- Wilder: "They wanted Borchard"
Right back at cha Borchardfan..- Wilder: "They wanted Borchard"
Exactly.- Wilder: "They wanted Borchard"
I'll say it again.. Come back to me in 3 years just to see who is having more of a stud career.- Wilder: "They wanted Borchard"
Ill live with that.- Wilder: "They wanted Borchard"
It's going to seriousle help him. Safeco is like the Birm. park. It's more of a pitchers park. Reed is a line drive hitter. Besides, scouts are usually wrong about everything. They said Palmeiro would be JUST a gap hitter like Reed. Look who's in the 500 homerun club? As for being compared to Crede.. that's not saying much considering how inconsistant Crede has been throughout his young career so far.- Wilder: "They wanted Borchard"
Well he's off to a very good start in Tacoma isn't he? Plus, SEa. GM said Reed should be in the majors very soon.- Wilder: "They wanted Borchard"
Well, maybe because Borchard has an incredible work ethic of preparing and usually he doesn't get injured. Reed does as well, but he has had some unfortunite ones (making a catch while hitting the wall hard thts how he messed up his wrist, and that collision with Valdez) Reed didnt even make it known. I believe aboz gave a report on him on futuresox. It's incredible how he's batting in the .275-.280 range while having bad wrist. Borchard could even get on his jock for that kind of average..- Wilder: "They wanted Borchard"
Come back to me in 3 years when we see who is having a better major league career. (that's if Borchard even stays in the majors )- Wilder: "They wanted Borchard"
Here I'll show you first the statement I made earlier about these two. And this is not even counting the 0-4 1K day Borchard had today... Hmmm.... let's see here Reed's all around numbers from AAA: BA- .276 AB-279 H- 77 2B- 15 3B- 2 HR- 9 RBI- 39 BB- 38 SO- 32 Reed's numbers in Tacoma: BA- .333 SLG- .733 AB-15 H-5 2B- 1 3B- 1 HR- 1 RBI- 3 BB- 2 SO- 0 And this is how he's playing with "bad wrist." Imagine this kid fully healthy. Those numbers would increase a good amount and I bet he would still be here. Now let's take a look at a "healthy" Joe Borchard numbers Borchard's all around number's in AAA: BA- .267 SLG- .487 AB- 273 H- 73 2B- 18 3B- 0 HR- 14 RBI- 46 BB- 25 SO- 61 Borchard has the power potential, but that's all I see in him. This team did not need any power guys. We needed a solid contact hitter who can get on base which Reed does/will do. That's why I'll never understand why we gave them Reed. Upside my ass. Reed will be a proven comodity and Borchard has bust written all over him. Reed>Borchard- Wilder: "They wanted Borchard"
That's your opinion. I don't see how Borchard will be so great in your eyes. You want some stats here I'll show you some in a minute. Yea I'm sure you look at the stats soooo many times..- Wilder: "They wanted Borchard"
Read more in this thread about when I'm compaing the two and their numbers then you'll see.- Hot Dog muncher sets World Record
Man what's up with Japanese people eating Weiners.. First Tadano now this guy.. Now I'll know who to call if my mom makes too much hotdogs..- Gagne Streak over at 84!!
Thank god!! BTW, Kornheiser was right when he said he won't pass 100. I'm sure this will be the first showing on SC and BBTN. BTW.. 4,000.. - 7/5 Games
