I think you wasted your time.. Yea IMO, I think these pitchers would rather have it this way (esp. Garland) because if they inherit a runner on base in late innings usually Manuel would take em out and most of the time the relief pitcher would score that run. (or he'll overwork Marte) Now Garland, Buehrle etc.. are pitching around that now. Yes they still might have him score, but he'll know it's on him if he makes that bad pitch. I'm sure they don't give a s*** what their era is, just that they get that W.

Wow.. Reed has gone 4-4 with 1 hr and 4 rbi's... I still can't believe he's gone..

Ring was really overrated when he was here. Reed at least hit for a high average in the minor leagues, has more walks than strikeouts, line drive/contact hitter (would have been a hellofa #2 hitter) and was a great teammate. I just wish he had a shot to get promoted to the bigs when he was here just to show some people that he's made of.

Its funny how you mention it. It still hasnt sunk in with me. I still think we have Reed, Olivo, and Morse still in the organization and Garcia is still in Seattle. I don't think it will sink in till a couple of days or when I see him pitch in a sox uni.
