I said that as well Jas. Plenty of players can make the jump. (Willis, Cabrera, Kotchman, Zambrano [i think he made the jump]) etc..

He has pitched in AAA, (even though it was as a reliever) so it isn't as if he is gonna get pounded up here. BTW, there are players that jumped from AA to the majors that really impressed. Very few, but it can be done. Not saying Munoz will come up here and pitch a no hitter, but that doesn't mean he'll get pounded. Rauch was suppose to intimadate hitters with his presence and frame, but noone was fazed. Munoz can hang IMO, even with his little presence and frame and could be intimidating. (Just ask Pedro Martinez)

After all this, we can still take 2/3 from the best team in baseball right now.

Some people do feel this way. I don't think it's as worthless as Young Gun's topics.. BTW, we wouldn't have the record that we have if it wasn't for Crede's clutch hits or Valentin's homers.

Never was a big Valentin fan, but he has helped us in key situations when he does get on. He has knocked down balls through holes that would have scored a runner from 2nd but held him at 3rd. Unless we trade him for another left-handed bat (which we are lacking) I see no problem with him at SS.

Count me on the Jeremy Sowers bandwagon. I just love watching him pitch. Pursey is also very raw. This should be an interesting draft.

Hate to comment on a prospect out of this organization, but this Ryan Roberts kid from charleston has really worn kanny out. 2-4 yest. I believe against McCarthy with 2 homers and 0-2 today but 5 walks!!! No wonder there was a high walk rate for the Kinny pitchers today and he probably scored alot of their runs as well.
