Question for Reed and Diaz.. When are uz gettin promoted? Serious question for Borchard, "Do you regret giving up football to pursue a major league career?" Diaz, "Do you believe you can secure a starter's spot on the team if called up, and pitch well enough to stay and impress?" Reed , 2 questions, "Can you check out a site called soxtalk? (or futuresox) Or have any of the minor leagers told you about this amazing site?" And, "How will you handle the pressure of trying to impress sox fans around the world, and management that you belong in the major leagues if called up?" (even though we know he will be)

Haven't we been trying to compete for the present for the past 3 years now..? We've traded away alot of prospects (esp. last year) and we keep missing the playoffs, hell can't even win the division. Granted that was when Manuel managed, but it's still stripped down our farm system. I would only trade a prospect like a Rauch, or a Borchard, etc. then to even touch our future plans. Don't matter how much offense we have it's all about pitching. (Plus, we have alot of HR potential on the team) Honel, Wing, McCarthy, Diaz, Cotts, Munoz etc. aren't going anywhere.

The only player I can see the sox hitting the siht out of in that D-Ray series is Robert "dirty player" Fick. I can't stand him.

Haha I hate reading more than anything in the world. Last book I read was Anne Frank (I think that was her name) and that was like a year ago. Can't stand reading. It's a shame cause I have to take these ISAT test this week (only for Juniors) and I gotta read alot...

Definitely. I could see a: Buerhle/Garland (whoever's still around) Cotts Honel Wing McCarthy by 2006-beyond for a long time Very lights out for many years to come. (those are just the prospects I like)

I would not mind that at all that's if the tigers take some of that hefty salery of his. I still have faith in shingo closing for us. Like people say, give a guy a chance first. Crede will probably put it together soon. I said this before, Crede reminds me of Konerko. They would get cold before/after the all-star break, then they will get hot before/after the all-star break. I would say Crede catches fire after the all-star break this year whereas Konerko gets alittle cold by then.

He and Miles just needed a change of scenery. Miles is getting playing time and is hitting very well in Colorado, and Uribe is proving that he doesn't need Colorado's thin air to hit homers or drive in runs. It's a win-win for both clubs IMO.

I would also go back to see if the Mets would still do a Koch/Weathers deal as well. Then Marte/Shingo would be our closer. I think we'd be set afterwards.

Hell, wite I'll go with your trade idea for a sec. Let's say we traded Crede for a Huff, then swapped Lee for a Victor Zambrano or Odalis Perez (with some good prospects) in return. Called up Reed just for kicks. Our line-up would be: Harris/Uribe - 2B Reed - LF Maggs - RF Thomas - DH Huff - 3B Konerko - 1B Valentin- SS Rowand - CF Olivo/Alomar - C It can be flipped flopped around if need be. Loaiza - R Buehrle - L Garland - R Perez - R or Zambrano - R Shoey - L (or other) or.. Buehrle - L Loaiza - R Perez - L or Zambrano - R Garland - R Shoey - L (or other) That is very solid Line-up and Rotation.

I would trade Carlos first before I even touch Crede or Cotts. He is expendable right now because f his value and of our prospects who are ready. (mostly Reed) I would also trade Carlos cause of his lack to play the ozzie ball on RISP. At least Crede is a team player and doesn't worry about the longball. He already has 2 GW hits in this year. If our 3rd base prospect is for real (The Schur) or if we get a couple of good players/prospects in return for a future all-star in Crede (Huff, I wouldn't mind maybe with a couple of throw-in prospects) would I pull the trigger.
