Agreed. Plus, Barfield has more upside and is only 21 yrs. old in AA. Gautreau is 24 yrs. old and in AA. Also they seem to be given Barfield more at-bats as well (192) from Gautreaus' (159). Barfield also makes less errors but has less power. Easily workable though. BTW, Barfield is hitting .250 Gautreau is hitting .226 but has 32 less at-bats. Here are their Stats here.

I'd rather get a veteran type pitcher (Glavine types) for a playoff run, Young pitchers like a Perez wouldn't help us much IMO.
