  1. Ditto.
  2. I knew it after this post.
  3. You just pulled a Cheat maggsmaggs I waited till the 6th near the 7th to post the Johnson Perfect Game.
  4. It's not your fault. Hope you post more here. :fthecubs
  5. Even though someone posted this already, Welcome to Soxtalk Marty34. :cheers BTW, Brando's right. Let's take care of buisness on the field first in winning before we talk about contracts. Also, how much you wanna bet most of that money is deferred?
  6. If Oakland can handle being without big names like Giambi and Tejada, I can't see why we couldn't handle Maggs' absence. Even though he's a fan favorite, we can have potential stars in our minor leaguers and we can create other chants than OEO.. Magglio.. He will be missed though
  7. He will be traded unless Cotts or Marte get injured or something..
  8. Ditto.
  9. Thank you!!!!
  10. You mean 6'11 pussy & whiner.. I also heard he's very nice as well but I could be wrong.
  11. Happy 19th to the both of ya. Party hard, and :begood
  12. Thanx Heads..
  13. I believe they are going to make a roster move by tomorrow aboz..
  14. Does anyone think Reed could get a call and start a couple games in right field? (Sorry, I just want to see this kid play ) BTW, I wouldn't mind Stewart in the 5th starters spot but that spot won't be nessesary for a bit I see.
  15. I said that as well Jas. Plenty of players can make the jump. (Willis, Cabrera, Kotchman, Zambrano [i think he made the jump]) etc..
  16. He has pitched in AAA, (even though it was as a reliever) so it isn't as if he is gonna get pounded up here. BTW, there are players that jumped from AA to the majors that really impressed. Very few, but it can be done. Not saying Munoz will come up here and pitch a no hitter, but that doesn't mean he'll get pounded. Rauch was suppose to intimadate hitters with his presence and frame, but noone was fazed. Munoz can hang IMO, even with his little presence and frame and could be intimidating. (Just ask Pedro Martinez)
  17. After all this, we can still take 2/3 from the best team in baseball right now.
  18. Some people do feel this way. I don't think it's as worthless as Young Gun's topics.. BTW, we wouldn't have the record that we have if it wasn't for Crede's clutch hits or Valentin's homers.
  19. Never was a big Valentin fan, but he has helped us in key situations when he does get on. He has knocked down balls through holes that would have scored a runner from 2nd but held him at 3rd. Unless we trade him for another left-handed bat (which we are lacking) I see no problem with him at SS.
  20. Count me on the Jeremy Sowers bandwagon. I just love watching him pitch. Pursey is also very raw. This should be an interesting draft.
  21. Wow, that's all I can say... Wow!!
  22. You also forgot Crede "A young Robin Ventura. He's a quiet leader."
