  1. Frank most likely or the great Wilson Alverez!! Ray Durham.. How about Bo Jackson...
  2. Give credit to Don Cooper as well. He has really helped him harnish his pitches as well as having other quality ones as well. Keep it up Shoey. Were pulling for ya!!
  3. I also forgot about Jose Cruz Jr. as well and Miguel Cairo but it's the people who have really got us though..
  4. Mention this in the gamethread but haven't you guys noticed there's always one player that really kills us in a series?? KC-Beltran, D-Rays-Crawford, Yanks-Posada? Man we can't catch a break. I hope it isn't going to be like this all year. Were going to play the D-Rays next with Carl "f***ing" Crawford in the series..
  5. This game was for Jas. Sox Win on his 21st B-day!!!
  6. Scary coincidence and this is a true fact. My first team I played for when I was little was the White Sox! We went to the WS against the Dodgers but lost.. but I know were a better team. (Then the yankees which I won a WS with but that's another story..LoL) My Little brother's team right now is the White Sox (1st team was Royals [he went to WS against the yankees but lost], then White Sox, then D-backs then Red Sox)
  7. As Limp Bizkit's music says..."Keep Rollin" Sox: 9-6
  8. Man haven't you guys noticed there's always one player that really kills us in the series?? KC-Beltran, D-Rays-Crawford, Yanks-Posada? Man we can't catch a break.
  9. I've decided not to post a PTC anymore. Whenever I do, they always wind up going 0-3 or 0-4 the next day. I figure it's bad luck to the player and the team, so I will not do it anymore.
  10. Man I get so nervous when Sheffield bats...
  11. Carlos Lee in 2001 (I believe it was or 02',) Walked more than he SO. I think over 70 Wlks and less K's but someone could check. He does have patience if he would stop swingin for the fences, but you are right about him pressing now. I don't anyone could be comparred to Ramirez or Bonds' patience at the plate cause not too many people in the league have it. Lee for RJ would not be a good trade IMO. If you would like me to say why I will, but it was for a Washburn or another younger, above average lefty, I would consider it.
  12. Wow Willie's had very good success against the Moose. That's why I'm going to make him my PTC tonight.
  13. Yes, I see he has in his sig now.. BTW, Beastly's B-Day is in 3 days.. He'll probably make his return then on his Sweet 16.
  14. I am the biggest fan for Cotts as 5th starter, but Wright hasn't pitched that terribly. He gave up 3 earned runs his last start and I will take that from him anyday. Give him a couple more starts and see how he progresses. If he's not looking good, then you make the move. And why isn't trading for Kip Wells an option? I am going to watch him pitch tonight against the Cubs so I can see how good and mature he's looking now at the mound. I'll be switching back and worth at times.
  15. Joe to me is going to be the like Konerko. He'll hit good in the first/second half, then he'll tail off. He did it last year and he might do it this year as well. My guess, he'll be hot after the all-star break whereas Konerko probably will tail off after the all-star break.
  16. Legal now to Drink, and is a legend here.. What haven't you done yet.. LoL. Happy B-Day Jas.
