And as a sox FAN, I'm sick and tired of posting about the cubs.. But in all, I don't think it will motivate them. The sox have their own plan. To take it one game at a time is critical. When the cub rivalry comes, yes, the players want to beat them. But I don't think any of them would just pick up the paper to see what place the lovable losers are in. Damn He's my second favorite prospect in the organization (reed#1 honel#3) But I would pick eigher Haigwood or A. Gonzalez.

A prospect can have "potential" but if he hasn't put it together for two straight seasons and is getting older, he shouldn't be ranked that high. Alot of players had "potential" in our system. (caruso, ruffcorn etc..) That doesn't mean, by any means, that they should have had their number that high just because of that. He has had time to get it straighten out. If he can't perform at the minor leagues (counting average, Strikeouts etc..) he shouldn't be on the top 5. Valido and McCarthy should have been on that list. Borchard and Shingo shouldn't have been. Cased closed.

Yes he is. I've lived on the southside for about ten of my seventeen years and noone that I know would be that picky of everything. You would get your ass beat around there if you would.

I agree with hawk. I also believe that the other pitchers (Buerhle and loaiza) will be better this year as well. I believe, for some odd reason, that Willie Harris will also improve...
