I think LaRussa is putting Madrigal and/or Eaton at the top of the order. I get Theriot/Furcal vibes in LaRussa's mind with them. Other than Abreu in the 3 hole, I have 0 clue what he's going to do but I'll take a stab at it.
Madrigal/Eaton
Eaton/Madrigal
Abreu
Grandal
Eloy
Moncada
Anderson
Robert
Vaughn (to ease him in)
I hope I'm wrong.
LaVine was outstanding. Simply outstanding. And I say this as someone who isn't a big fan of his. Was efficient, didn't force up any dumb shots (only two I can think of was him forcing when the time expired and a heat check shot but I can't knock him on those and even though he still had 5 turnovers, one of them was him running out the shot clock. He or Coby will likely never have a game like this at the same time again (first two teammates in NBA history to hit 8 three pointers in a game) but it was fun to watch.
Valentine was also very good in this game. Donovan has given him a chance and he's running with it in his minutes.
Or maybe LaVine forces it to be him vs the world.... Thaddeus Young had to talk to him at the end of their last game because he was wide open in the paint and LaVine didn't look his way and forced up a shot. Let's not act like his decision making/basketball I.Q. is good. I will say having a PG who can have the ball in his hands down the stretch will definitely help this team.. which they desperately need. But I still don't think that will fully stop LaVine from the hero ball antics either.
And his shit turnovers. And his decision making. But I will give him credit he isn't the defensive sieve he once was.
Btw, maybe Donovan needs to let White or someone else take the game winning shots. LaVine 9/10 times usually doesn't make them.
Tom Brady has been in 10 Super Bowls. I've betted on or against him all 10 times (since I was 14 or 15 years old).. I'm 3-7 including the L I took tonight.
Their was a couple of calls against KC that I didn't like, but how about the KC punter costing the Chiefs negative field position on a couple of possession? A couple of their defenders jumping offsides earlier? KC has definitely shot themselves in the foot in this game.
Zach was playing like he didn't want to be traded to New York (and I don't blame him). But I hope a team gives up a bunch of picks for him. Would be so beneficial in the long run.
Rogers, Duffey, Colome ain't a bad 7th, 8th, 9th pen at all. I'm assuming they're gonna move Dobnak to the pen too unless he's gonna be their 5th starter.
