  1. Jesus... I saw this thread went 8 pages and thought Robert's injury was more serious.
  2. I like Ozzie's explanation on that pop up as a former SS. That drop ball is on TA for not calling for the ball, not Moncada.
  3. La Russa didn't even ask Lucas if he's out of gas lol. Goes right to the pen.
  4. Gio hitting 96 now. Clearly something is off. @Jack Parkman @caulfield12
  5. Gio pitches out of it again. He's at 85 pitches. I'd give him another inning then hope La Russa doesn't continuously leave him in afterwards after 100+ pitches.
  6. Only the White Sox could make me miss Adam Engel more than I should.
  7. Eh.. just drop it. Me and you are 100% on the same page but it isn't worth hashing out any further. But hey.. if that was the case, then maybe a rookie in the league should, oh I don't know... know better.
  8. I'm sure there will be posters who still say he hasn't been good.
  9. Stone ripping Moncada for that and rightfully so.
  10. Its like that not just for baseball but for any sport. You are a professional athlete. Come to work on time. Joel Quennville for example would scratch Kane or Toews if they pulled that shit (but neither guy never did) he scratched Richard Panik for doing it and that was when he had a strong start after the trade deadline. Blame La Russa for the batting order, not the scratch.
  11. I don't blame La Russa one bit for scratching Mercedes for that. 0 excuse there. BUT I will absolutely blame him for hitting Jake freakin Lamb 5th in the batting order.
  12. Jason just mentioned Yermin was late to the ballpark today so probably the reason Lamb was in for La Russa. Hmmm.. we've heard about Yermin's past issues in the clubhouse and that is not a good look. You are a professional now.
  13. Giolito was one bad La Russa decision away from having respectable numbers this year and people are freaking out that he "doesn't look right" and he ain't hitting 96-98 in *checks calendar* May 2nd... can't make this stuff up. He'll be fine. He's missing his pitches but he'll get better with that.
  14. Arguably our most important player is down. This is not good.
  15. I'm still high on Cole Kmet personally.
  16. The Sox dodged a huge bullet that they didn't extend Marshall.
  17. Jesus 2 picks that I actually like?!?! What is this?!?!?!
  18. SoxAce replied to ron883's topic in Pale Hose Talk
Yea Lynn was really a great acquisition in alot of ways. Lynn was also the guy who helped Gibson changed the grip on a couple of his secondary pitches late last season.
  19. If Fields shows potential to be that franchise guy and its the rest of the team that lays an egg, I'll gladly take it.
