Robert is just not picking up Gibson at all. That does happen with a hitter against a certain pitcher from time to time.

I love it personally. Would've been safe if his slide was better. Hell of a jump too. Mercedes makes better jumps than Moncada.

Gibson is nasty. Amazing what happens when you change your grip on a pitch(s). I like how Stone mentioned it was Lance Lynn who helped him in that regard. He's going to be fantastic trade bait for the Rangers at the deadline.

Someday La Russa will actually let Heuer start and finish and inning. Heuer has struggled when he comes back out after he does his job.
