8-22 GT: Sox @ Cubs (7:15pm)
His metrics so far this season have not been bad at all (I know... sample size) but lets not act like Mazara is Eloy out there.

Brock Holt DFA
This. Moncada will get one of his usual soft tissue injuries and Mendick will step in at 3B. I like Mendick much more as a super sub and am happy to see him getting ABs.

I'm watching here at work. But is there a reason why Keuchel is still in this game?

Moncada hasn't been 100% since he's been in a Sox jersey. Said it before, he's pretty soft when it comes to minor stuff.

What should the Sox do with James McCann?
McCann's value is his game calling and defense for sure. But he's going to be the flavor because of the shortened season. As we saw last season when he was the guy back there, he faded dramatically in the second half. I just don't personally trust his bat in a full season. But he is still a valuable player.

2019-2020 Official NBA Thread
I like Melo and I can see the draft going Edwards, Wiseman and Melo in no particular order. I do like me some Hayes though. If I'm the Bulls I'd package one of their young players and try and move up though.

Tigers manager is apparently an idiot too.

8-19 GT: Tigers @ Sox
Great effort by Dunning. Made one bad pitch there. I have 0 issue with Renteria managing that inning.

8-19 GT: Tigers @ Sox
Roll Dunning out for the 5th thrn pull him. Even if he goes 1-2-3 in the 5th, I am not chancing it with him in the 6th.

Mize is such a stud. Lordy.

If that was Crawford's final game as a Hawk then what a ride it's been.

Official NHL COVID season thread
Well.. Colliton did good by scratching Nylander. But not for John fucking Quenneville who is a much worse hockey player. No idea why they don't wanna draw Kurashev in. Hell, I'd rather freaking Sikura out there. Just making me miss Nylander. If they are going to make dumb decisions like that, then leave Nylander in the whole series.

WHITE SOX WIN!!!
He's not hitting 100-102 like he once did, but considering he was at 93-94 post TJS for a long time till now at 98-99... it's an unbelievable turnaround.
-
Fernando Tatis Jr. thread
The fact that Tatis had to apologize for hitting a grand slam on a 3-0 count is the epitome of everything that’s wrong with baseball. Bauer at least gets it.

WHITE SOX WIN!!!
Did Ron basically just tell @southsider2k5 to suck it in his usual game winning threads?

8-17 GT: Tigers at Sox
This is what we're supposed to do. Beat the teams we are suppose to beat.

8-17 GT: Tigers at Sox
Don't be looking at Robert like that Eloy... you know he is way better with the glove.

8-17 GT: Tigers at Sox
Just hit a slider out. Another brilliant post by Parkman.

8-17 GT: Tigers at Sox
116. Don't short my guy lol.

8-17 GT: Tigers at Sox
116 MPH EXIT VELOCITY.

8-17 GT: Tigers at Sox
He was drafted as the closer of the future. Then injuries hit and guys like Hamilton, Burr, Johnson, etc. passed him on the depth chart. Now he may be back in the plans.

8-17 GT: Tigers at Sox
It makes me proud seeing Burdi regain his velocity again. He may not hit 100-102 like he use to but compared to where he was for the last two years hitting 93-94 to now back at 98-99 consistently... it is awesome to see.
