Ooo he hung that one. And got hurt.

10 K's baby.

Gallen 7 IP 2 H 0 R 0 ER 1 BB 9 SO Lopez 7 IP 2 H 0 R 0 ER 1 BB 9 SO Only difference is pitch count (95 Gallen to 81 Lopez)

Haha. Literally posted the same thought.

Reed's numbers in one less PA are almost identical to Collins (minus 4 more hits and 3 less walks). And Collins had much more sporadic ABs.

I'll gladly take a Luis Castillo like career out of Madrigal personally which I can easily see him doing.

Gallen living up to the thread title.

9 game hitting streak for Gladney. Has hit safely in 10 of his last 11 games.

Really showing that "elite" scouting in shifting.

Madrigal RBI double. Kid just hits man.

Watch there be a report Lopez went back to a pitching coach in the Nationals organization or something to fix him.

God damn 99!!!

Please tell me you've figured it out Lopez... last two starts and so far this one have been outstanding.

Robert BB.

Marlins knew he was swinging at 3-0. I wonder if they read Ricky's sign there.

This is why I don't want Abreu resigned. Ricky will continue to bat him 3rd (and play 1B) when there will be better options in house down the line.

Timmy still doesn't look 100% but legged out an RBI infield single there.

Robert single. He was badly fooled on that breaking pitch too, but there was a gaping hole on the right side of the infield.

NICE 1-2-3 inning from Lopez there.

Collins 2 run double. Now 2-2.

Then he throws a cannon to rob a guy with a double. Nice outfield assist there.

Line drive single the other way for Timmy.

He has a different philosophy in that he values OBP/high floor players whereas Laumann is the exact opposite. That is not to say he doesn't take chances on high ceiling guys later.

Posted it in another thread, but some guy named Tim Anderson is batting 3rd and at DH for Charlotte tonight.

He's at DH batting 3rd for Charlotte tonight.
