  1. Kong time - twice over!!!
  2. Tough luck for Jim there.
  3. Thought Kong had a second one for a second there.
  4. QUOTE(fathom @ Apr 15, 2006 -> 02:42 PM) I sure hope he's being sarcastic. I'd like to think so................. but I am truly wondering.
  5. Joe Crede makes White Sox baseball viewing worthwhile all by himself.
  6. Burnett threw 58 pitches 3 days ago on a rehab assignment. They think he is good for 90 pitches today - he has thrown 30 so far in the 1st.
  7. He has started Thome off with 3 fasballs right down the middle - 96 to 97 mph.
  8. Wow - just like that. :headshake
  9. Opening basehit - the human vacuum cleaner at 3rd prevents a double.
  10. QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Apr 15, 2006 -> 03:10 AM) This post scares me. I hear ya. Kind of in a 'George Costanza/ massage/movement' kind of way.
  11. I, too, was surprised at the lack of velocity on his fastball, according to the radar gun. It was almost like he didn't get loose. I thought his location was off a lot of the time. I thought the Jays are a better than average hitting team. And I thought Javier was pretty unlucky with the number of weakly hit balls that found holes. It all added up to an ugly night. I still came away impressed with his movement and can fully understand how he can be dominating. I would like to see his velocity up and have him throw it to all 4 corners to set up his impressive set of breaking balls.
  12. Cliff threw that one right over the middle of the plate. Despite all the talk here, I think the greater part of this slaughter was the Jays hitting very well and lucky as they blooped poorly hit singles all over the place.
  13. A long one off Cliff - things getting out of hand now.
  14. QUOTE(maggsmaggs @ Apr 14, 2006 -> 10:47 PM) I see it. No kidding - all I see is a little square box with a red x in it - crap JD victimized by a nice catch.
  15. QUOTE(Heads22 @ Apr 14, 2006 -> 10:43 PM) The server must hate it when people hate on BA. On a side note - do any administrator's understand what happened to my avatar? It was showing at the beginning of this game.
  16. Let's have Thome time for a tie.
  17. Wow - bunting with Anderson on deck.
  18. Here we come - 2 on and nobody out.
  19. Well that's one way to get the 3rd out.
  20. Paying for the left on runners now - ouch. Overbay with a hit and a 2 run Jay lead.
  21. QUOTE(CWSOX45 @ Apr 14, 2006 -> 09:48 PM) What the hell do you guys expect Anderson to do? He's a rookie. I expected him to struggle A LOT his rookie season, with a lot of strike outs. Not many rookies come up and automatically adjust to major league pitching. He has a lot of potential but you have got to be patient with him. Give the kid some time, jesus christ. CWSOX45 Thank you for that. All things point to a 5 game winning streak. This should help buy time while the predictable Major league adjustment occurs. 2 weeks into the season and Kenny's judgement is being questioned - ridiculous.
