  1. Contreras walks Wilson on 4 pitches. 6-3. 2 out bases loaded. Willie Boomquist up.
  2. Ibanez can't check on a pitch in the dirt. 2 out. Sounds like a patented Contreras forkball. Dan Wilson up.
  3. Bret Boone up. Davis tried to pick off Beltre on second and ball went into short center, but the runner did not advance, as the play was backed up. I am not sure if it was Uribe or Gooch who backed up the play. Boone wasks. Sacks juiced. Ibanez up. 1 still out.
  4. Adrian Beltre smokes one up the middle. 6-2 Sox. Beltre walked in the first. Sounds like Contreras might need to have his head shaved on one side to even things out. Richie Sexton singles hard up the middle. 1st and 2nd.
  5. Randy Winn smokes a gapper into right center. Seattle's second hit of the game. 1 out, man on 2nd.
  6. Ichiro, Winn and Beltre up in the bottom of the third gainst Contreras. Ichiro hitting .531. Uribe throws out Ichiro. 1 out.
  7. I haven't signed up for the audio feed yet this year. I am still getting it off last year's subscription. Sounds like Matt Thornton pitching. Ozuna back up. Base hit. Uribe to 3rd.
  8. QUOTE(JimH @ Mar 27, 2005 -> 04:56 PM) Thanks for doing the play by play by the way. Appreciated. Is there a way to get this game ... radio/TV/internet? Thanks. You're welcome. MLB internet radio. Seattle announcers. Uribe with a bouncer up the middle and into center field. Dye scores. Hernandez gets the hook.
  9. Borchard K's, while Dye steals 2nd. 2 down.
  10. Dye up. He is 0 for 1. The pitchers name is Hernandez. I think. Dye hits one in the hole. Reese makes a nice play getting to the ball and then pulls the first baseman off the bag. E-6. Dye on first. Still 1 out
  11. Konerko up. Seatttle pitcher thows fastballs in the 95 to 97 miles per hour range. Konerko parks one into the seats in right center. 5-1 Chisox.
  12. Rowand doubles into the corner in left. 3-1 Chisox.
  13. QUOTE(3E8 @ Mar 27, 2005 -> 04:45 PM) Who else has gotten a hit? Don't know, I just tuned in. Iguchi up, hitting second in the lineup, I think. Iguchi hit the ball off his foot and did not leave the batter's box. The ump called the ball fair. Iguchi thrown out at first. Everyone else moves up. 1-1, runners on second and third. Rowand up.
  14. The Seattle pitcher is 18 yrs. old, if I heard correctly. Ben Davis gets hit. Bases loaded.
  15. Perez with a single, 1st and 3rd, nobody out.
  16. Ozuna leads off the third with a single, our 4th hit of the game.
  17. QUOTE(BHAMBARONS @ Mar 27, 2005 -> 04:39 PM) 1-0 Seattle going to the bottom of the second. Weather is really giving my game feeds trouble. So if anyone else can help I would be really thankful Tom 1,2,3 for Seattle in the 2nd. Good guys up in the third. 1-0 Seattle.
  18. QUOTE(Rex Hudler @ Mar 25, 2005 -> 11:03 PM) I believe it is..... but he had 21 doubles in short season Bristol and Grat Falls the year before. Thirteen in only 55 games his first year. I am keeping my fingers crossed that he will somehow find his way into the Birmingham outfield in 2 weeks. Not holding my breath, but apparently he is still playing with the AA club in ST and hasn't been "sent down" to the Winston club yet. How nice would a Sweeney, Young and Owens OF be to start the year in Bham? Pick em up and they em down!
  19. QUOTE(danman31 @ Mar 23, 2005 -> 06:38 PM) It was one of those Marte let's loose to late pitches. I don't think his control is that good when his form is that bad. It didn't look intentional. But from a non Sox fan, or at least someone that doesn't see Marte pitch often, it could look intentional. Marte released as if he was aiming for Lee, but he doesn't always have the release point down. Admittedly, it is a convenient coincidence that it was Carlos though. A "let's loose to late" pitch. I like that description. Saw a few of those last year from Marte. Interesting incident. This is one of those unpredictable incidents that can further coalesce team chemistry. Intended or not, I see lot's of back slapping
  20. The Brewer announcer said it was obvious that he threw at him. Always hard to tell. I only have radio. Any thoughts out there? Marte has been pitching inside more this year and hitting batters. Also Lee always did stand on top of the plate. The announcer added that it was the first pitch.
  21. They just said on the Brewer feed that Fields (currently pitching) was our first round pick last year!
  22. Third inning. Widger double. Crede single - advances to second on bad throw. 2nd and 3rd no one out. Gooch pinch hitting for Garland, who got hit by a liner on his arm last inning. Double into left field corner to score 2 runs. Very nice hitting keeping the ball fair. Would have been a homer if not for the wind. Pods sacrifice. One out man on third. Willie Harris with a drawn in single to left on full count. Good guys 3-0.
  23. Inning? Score? Interesting commentary from the booth?
