I worry that since he has been DHing all season, he will be left off the all-star team. Even though he is more deserving than most if not all the other AL first basemen.

Ok, hypothetical question here: How should a president choose his VP? While I dont entirely think this, I wonder if maybe your best option for VP is someone who can be voted into office after the president has served 2 terms so the party keeps office. I say this because I think Dean would not really always get along with Kerry, but if Kerry is elected and serves 2 terms, Dean would be a great canidate to become president. Heck, I still think he should have been this years democratic nominee.

Well, there is a place for the indepent leagues. So people just want to play baseball. Unfortunetly, they may not have been blessed witht the greatest abilities, btu they still want to live out those dreams. So, I can see why independent leagues are important. With that being said, I pray for the day that the Flyers defect from the Northern league and join A ball as a White Sox farm team.
