OKay, today the talk should have been about Nomar. I do agree with that being the hot topic. However, at the risk of sounding like a jealous sox fan I have noticed in the past that murph loves talking about the cubs and almost every time there is sox talk, something about the cubs is mentioned as well. Fred is supposedly a sox fan, actually I think he is, and I feel he is usually right on the comments he makes on the sox and about baseball in general. However he seems to be Murph's b**** way too often and lets Murph control the show. I think the show should be Fred and Murph!!!!

You people.... He is not having that bad of a season. He will finish with 20 HRs, probably around a .250 BA. Give me a break. How many seasons did Ventura put up similar numbers? I think the problem is is that you all want a guy batting .300 with 30 HR and 100 RBIs at every position. I'd take his defense and an occasional offensive outburst with the lineup we have. shees....
