What are your NFL predictions for this weekend?
QUOTE (iamshack @ Jan 23, 2012 -> 05:05 PM) If you're going to have MVP's being picked though, you sure as s*** can't have OBAMA choosing them. You should have one OBJECTIVE person choose the MVP's, or else, have all the predictions submitted to an OBJECTIVE non-participant and kept secret until the contest has been completed. That being said, I agree with Badger that no one really has much of a stink here... But yeah, the kicker was not the MVP either. The nice thing about the Super Bowl is that there is an announced MVP. The bad thing... 90% of the time it's the winning team's QB. Not much guessing there.

Steve, I understand that he believes that what he decided to do was correct, but the whole process was arbitrary and allowed for loopholes where he could get out of not handing out a prize. There was no true MVP award given for the games, so there was not a concrete result with the contest; it left it too open to debate. I gave out prizes for the PTC of my own volition - there was a non-arbitrary way to decide the winner, so there was no argument as to who won. SOXOBAMA, if you decide to continue your contest for the Super Bowl, might I suggest that you actually award a prize for the closest winner?

So, just so we're clear. Who were the MVPs? Who chose them?

What are your NFL predictions for this weekend?
QUOTE (SOXOBAMA @ Jan 23, 2012 -> 12:49 PM) He didn't pick the right MVP's for each game.. You might as well have offered $1 million then, because the odds of matching everything totally exact is incredibly unlikely.

Balta warned everyone already. Back it off or you'll be seeing time off. This a universal warning, not a specific warning, but the "abortion", "retarded" and "moronic" comments are where it starts.

QUOTE (SoxFan1 @ Jan 22, 2012 -> 06:03 PM) The idea is to get your playmakers the ball in open space. That may be the goal, but in the NFL it's a small window and closing speed is so much faster than college.
