  1. Former Michigan/NBA player Robert Traylor.
  2. I'm not a fan of GE Money Bank or Chase.
  3. Just a little food for thought today. I'll give you guys multiple answer options. This almost happened a few times since 1968.
  4. If someone else bought the Sox, they'd leave Chicago.
  5. QUOTE (Athomeboy_2000 @ May 10, 2011 -> 04:04 PM) Twin Cities Suburb May Lure Vikings That's gotta be the best option of all. Keep them in the area, but outside of the city. Within 20 years, the Bears should look at a similar option.
  6. Don't get one with a limit higher than 500 bucks. It becomes too easy of a payment option otherwise.
  7. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ May 8, 2011 -> 07:09 PM) He's never takin' those off. He'll have to tape them black.
  8. Konerko has 5 hits in the pink shoes.
  9. I caught it but I figured that there was no point in mentioning it.
  10. I don't see Floyd going anywhere. Danks, Buehrle, and Jackson are less likely to stay much past this year; whether it's free agency or trade due to not re-signing.
  11. Hawk took the ball, signed it, then held it arm's length away while taunting him with "STRETCH!"
  12. I'll compromise and move it to Diamond Club.
  13. QUOTE (BigEdWalsh @ May 8, 2011 -> 12:28 PM) HAhaha. Funny. Yeah, I'm not Greg and I do have the ball. I heard that Beckham wanted to sign it, but he couldn't keep his eye on the ball.
  14. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ May 8, 2011 -> 11:39 AM) lol. You somewhat made a point in that I'm no expert (never thought I was), but how the hell do you come up with those posts so fast? Does the search function only work for mods? And if it worked for us, I could pull up posts in which I've been right. Lillibridge is still a below average baseball player. I'm not crowning Humber after a good month. And CQ has proven me wrong so far. You don't keep Flowers simply in this case of IF you're able to trade A.J. If you thought anything of him you don't resign him and go with Flowers from the get go. I just use Google. "site:www.soxtalk.com Jordan4Life Quentin/Humber/Lillibridge"
  15. I'm not keeping track. I'm saying that you have no faith in anything.
  16. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Aug 28, 2010 -> 10:34 PM) I wonder what kinda market there is for CQ? He's just not that good. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Mar 11, 2011 -> 08:16 PM) I wanted (Milledge) on the roster the second he was acquired. I want no part of Lillibridge or De Aza. Gross. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Mar 22, 2011 -> 10:19 PM) If a crazy, suicidal f*** jumps off the top of the Sears Tower (I will never refer to it as the Willis Tower), I don't have to wait until he/she hits the ground to no that fool is dead. s***ty analogy. But same difference. I know you're an optimist. I have no problem with that. It's a natural tendency to think the team that you cheer for and love can do something with a player(s) that nobody else could. But those that are not drinking the kool-aid just because said player happens to be a White Sox shouldn't be looked upon as evil demons that just like to be negative for the sake of being negative. I've said this many times before. If the Cubs were set to insert Humber into their rotation EVERY single poster on this board, and that includes you SS2K5 and JoeCool, would be laughing their asses off. This is undeniable fact. Now if somehow, someway, Humber pulls a horseshoe out his ass and is even serviceable, great. It won't make me feel stupid for not expecting a thing from him this year. He's done nothing in his career, outside of being a high draft pick sever years ago, that warrants any type of faith.
  17. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ May 8, 2011 -> 11:15 AM) Why? He's awful. He can't hit AAA pitching and he doesn't play anywhere close to sufficient enough defense to mask his offensive deficiencies. Mainly a K% that ranges from 32-35%. If you can get anything, and I mean anything, worthwhile for Flowers you don't hesitate. He is slumping because he's trying to get his swing back. They fiddled with his stance and messed him up. He's hit before, he'll hit again.
  18. Flowers may have to replace A.J. before the year is out. It would be foolish to trade him now.
  19. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ May 8, 2011 -> 10:12 AM) Except DeJesus just hit two homers in one game to single-handedly win it for the A's last week against CLE. Even when Sweeney goes 5/6, his team loses, largely because they're all singles. His only 2 HRs of the year while batting .232. He averages just over 7 a year. Not that huge of an upgrade from Sweeney's play. His defensive range is excellent, though.
  20. Konerko's X-Ray on his wrist came back negative. http://espn.go.com/blog/chicago/white-sox/...itive-correctly
