  1. I added quite a few movies to my list because they were ground-breaking or had a lot of "buzz." I don't watch horror very often. Foreign versions and US versions are separate.
  2. Today is a special day. This is one of only a few days on the yearly calendar where none of the 4 major sports have a regular season game.

    They don't want Superman Jr., I know that.
  4. QUOTE (ChWRoCk2 @ Oct 5, 2010 -> 06:00 PM) Our GM is too stubborn, I don't know why he never pursues trades or FA (in general) when the two obvious holes right now are RB and SS due to Grant and Burnett going on the IR. On a side note, I know their front office agreed they need a RB and rumors have had the names Lynch and DeAngelo tossed around, only one option left. Really should have given Willie Parker a shot by now. Larry Johnson is an available free agent since Ryan Torain looks like a solid pairing with Portis.

    You guys who post in here better be sending me horror movie lists.
  6. QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Oct 5, 2010 -> 03:05 PM) Can you keep a running tab of who submitted a list in the OP? 'K it's in there.
  7. Yes, I got yours, Milk. I think that GoSox turned one in...
  8. QUOTE (FlaSoxxJim @ Oct 5, 2010 -> 01:34 PM) I have a list of about 50 that I'm trying to cut in half. My list has a lot of silent, Universal, Hammer, etc. that are classic cinema but wouldn't make lists based on "scarriness" per se. I also really really want to include a couple of made for teevee classics like Salem's Lot and the Karen Black Trilogy of Terror anthology, despite knightni's rules excluding such. Growing up those two titles scared the hell out of me. Okay. I can count Direct to video and TV movies...
  9. Crap. I had 37 on my first list and had to pare it down. I only have about 5 lists right now, and one of them is from before we narrowed focus to just horror. I would really appreciate it if I could get a few more before the end of the week.

    QUOTE (nitetrain8601 @ Oct 4, 2010 -> 09:24 PM) You could've said the same about Joker. Then Nolan did his own Joker and it killed. I think it would be the same with Riddler. The Riddler is an OCD psycho with a short fuse.

    Oh crap. I just saw it... Neil Patrick Harris might work. or... Ben Linus.

    Joseph Gordon-Leavitt could take over for Heath Ledger if they bring The Joker back.

    QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Oct 4, 2010 -> 03:36 PM) It was f***ing awesome. I told ya that you'd like it.
  14. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Oct 4, 2010 -> 10:19 AM) It just seemed like Jeremy was saying 15 games as if it were no biggie. It's not as much of a "biggie" as if it would have happened on opening night and he'd have been out for 30+.

    Heath Ledger wasn't a Nolan-style pick either, but he did a wonderful job.
  16. knightni replied to knightni's topic in SLaM
    David Cross might be a out of left field pick for The Riddler.
  17. Ha! The computer gave you 2nd place in Soxtalk keeper!
  18. Alright. I changed it. If you can't think of 15 horror movies that you like, at least pick 10.
