Will the Sox actually pony up or fall short?

I just can't see how the Sox can sell the "going for it" if they don't sign Cespedes or Upton... Fowler is a nice piece but not the same and certainly not worth the pick.

I would say the fall back plan is going to be stick with Avi and hope someone can get him to fix his s***...

The Sox would have to win a few more WS and be in the playoffs every year for the next 10 yrs and they Cubs would have to go back to the norm of them sucking... even then not likely they could steal the town.
