WTF Leury

TLR was reading SoxTalk.

Leury has to score there.

There have been some really hot takes on Crochet here. The guy is 21 and has barely pitched at the MLB level. If the Sox are working with him on control and velocity, there’s a reason. He needs to work on getting movement on his fastball and better use of his secondary pitches. Let’s not write his ass off yet.

Good change.

Nice pitch.

Jason with the Breaking Bad reference.

Nice job by Foster.

Boston special there.

This team is so aggravating.

Fuck this ump

Home plate umpire is terribad today.

Heuer is nasty.

Umpires doing their best to make more people want robo umps.

That was strike three.

Eaton has been a pleasant surprise so far.

Home run just about anywhere else.

It was hard to believe Ramirez was 0 for the series before that. He always hits the Sox well. Offense needs to step up. Lynn has pitched a good game.

Who had "Eaton is involved in the first bench clearing" on their bingo card?

That's a really nice lineup.

Rodon's interview with Jason and Steve after the game was awesome. He comes across as humble, down to earth, and very appreciative of his teammates. It's just so cool to see this guy do what he did last night after everything he went through. I swear he got better as the game went on. Touching 99 mph on pitch 110 was awesome. We all talk about Abreu's play in the 9th, and rightfully so, but who knew Leury's play at SS when he snatched that hard one-hopper would be so important. And as someone else had pointed out, Moncada's play to end the game was not a gimme. That ball was smoked.

I can’t stop watching the last out. What a game. Carlos was dominant all night. Collins called a great game. Abreu’s play was amazing. Mercedes is not human.

COVID symptoms but has not tested positive. Keeping him away to be safe.

Welcome to SoxTalk!

And Engel, and god-forbid Billy Hamilton.
