  3. QUOTE(CWSGuy406 @ Mar 3, 2005 -> 10:02 PM) Uribe is a career .266 hitter with a .307 OBP. And, all of this coming while playing in two of the best hitting parks in all of baseball. Sure thing, huh? Certainly not, IMHO. That said, I'm not going to stick a label on neither Harris nor Uribe yet. Both of them have but hes also consistantly improving. i guess we'll see...
  4. ya know for some reason it had never occurred to me that Pauly was only 28... why wouldnt we want to keep him around for at least a few more years...? it seems like he's in his prime and it'd be foolish to dump him wouldnt it? I mean he's only a year older than A-Row
  5. yes but you'd be best if you found someone else to join too. 2 slots open and unless both are filled the 11th guy would get dropped... but definitely would love having you in the league

    Serious Note

that's horrible. but at least it turned out all right. thank God.
  7. i dont think uribe is anywhere near the question mark of harris. we know he can hit ML Pitching... that streak he had going was amazing last year and he ended up w/ 23 hrs to boot. Harris doesnt match that... theres no way he's as valuable to the team...
  8. Paul a catcher? thats freakin hilarious! Was that what he was drafted as?
  9. QUOTE(Gene Honda Civic @ Mar 3, 2005 -> 06:28 PM) Well since it was in response to the ability to TEACH the SB.... It seems to me that good ole Scotty Pod had to have time to develop. He didn't steal more than 30 bases until he was 26, and that was for the Tacoma Rainer's. but i figure that at least pods HAS developed... whereas... well, as we were shown today, willie still cant steal. (Addy diggin the sig.... nice picture... )
  10. QUOTE(Gene Honda Civic @ Mar 3, 2005 -> 06:04 PM) Spod Total SB's thru age 26 = 190 -- In 9 minor league seasons. WH total SB's thru age 26 = 184 -- in 6 years of professional baseball(Minors and majors) Looks to me like Spod is the slow learner... out of curiousity whats the point of that info... all that matters is major league production... and spod beats willie there anyday
  11. QUOTE(Punch and Judy Garland @ Mar 3, 2005 -> 06:12 PM) You guys are exactly on point. I am not happy that they invited Frank. Schilling will escape criticism because he's a media darling of sorts, but I worry that Frank's name will be dragged through the mud a little bit. That said, who knows if he'll even show. if he doesnt it will look worse....
  12. at least one spot open still in league 7. if uj leaves then 2 spots the info is in the league 7 thread

  18. Well thats odd cuz i know that i didnt change it to 730 AM, maybe its in a different time zone... it does that every once in a while. I think I'm going to change it to the evening. So hopefully that works for everybody.
  19. does that evening work for people? if we can get as many people there as possible it'd be great
  20. 4:30 work or after 4:30, just for clarification
