Well if we are living in a Disney movie this will go 3-2 and Dunn hits a hr as the White Sox get hot and go the playoffs.
-
Its really impressive how the Sox have found ways to lose. They really need 2 runs. Id accuse Rodney of having something in his beard, just to get in his head.
-
I actually went back and looked, it really seems like he completely missed the base as if he didnt even know that was a rule.
-
Danks is just stupid.
-
Well there just is no way you can not even make an attempt on that ball. That is basically the worst bunt attempt ever.
-
ugh just let him swing that looked terrible
-
Passed ball do it!

Magic, its what we need!

QUOTE (TitoMB @ Sep 27, 2012 -> 08:27 PM) Bases loaded, 1 out? Infield fly. Bright side it wasnt a dp.

ANY MEANS NECESSARY
-
Its sad when you are hoping for a dp that scores a run. (Prior to AJ getting out) Damn you!

Nice, that should help Wisconsin keep on finishing top 4. -
I assume they are Christians, wonder if the understand the hilarity of the comment "God never makes mistakes."

QUOTE (Y2HH @ Sep 27, 2012 -> 04:02 PM) It's fine if it happens BEFORE you enroll. The way he made it sound is that he took a class, and was forced to drop 1500$ in order to do so...seemingly out of nowhere. She was a sophomore and the school decided that it was a requirement for all students with any sort of art major. My parents had already bought her a brand new computer the year before. So its the exact scenario you are referencing. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Sep 27, 2012 -> 04:04 PM) Hmm, thats crazy, I guess thats the world we live in now. Not even every kid in my dorm hallway had a computer, I was the only one with a cell phone. I never had a cell phone in college, but had a computer.

The school my sister went to required her to buy a mac laptop and mac screen for her courses. The price was just added to the tuition, so it definitely happens.

QUOTE (bmags @ Sep 27, 2012 -> 08:56 AM) I don't think so, as a democrat one of the things I don't like is poverty. I don't want people to starve to death just because they don't vote with me. QUOTE (StrangeSox @ Sep 27, 2012 -> 09:09 AM) ^^ I'm fine with donor states. If you guys are fine giving money to people who bite your hand at every turn, more power to you. But when someone says they dont want my money, Id prefer if I could give it to someone else in need that was actually appreciative. Call me old fashioned.

QUOTE (GoodAsGould @ Sep 26, 2012 -> 10:01 PM) It was good until WoW/EQ2 launched... that was pretty much the end even though I know some people still play it today. EQ2 has to be one of the worst business decisions ever. I stopped playing EQI with an epic weapon druid to start over in EQII? That didnt last long, I wasnt going to grind a new character again and I wasnt going to play a lower version game. The smart move would have been to allow people to port characters over. I had twinks with sweet ass gear, I just stopped playing one day and never went back.

QUOTE (greg775 @ Sep 26, 2012 -> 09:34 PM) Here comes the meatball blast off the wall. Or a walk. Ha no, the Sox will miraculously get out of this mess. Only to some how find a more brutal way to lose later on. -
QUOTE (GoodAsGould @ Sep 26, 2012 -> 09:16 PM) Well if it wasn't on launch it came before Luclin which was pretty early on, I find it crazy that any game would come out nowadays without some kind of loot system. In Diablo3 for example everyone had their own private loot. Im talking before any expansion came out. By Kunark a ton of things had already been changed. I wish that game didnt get so ridiculous, I had some fun times.

Im always optimistic when it comes to the teams I support. There is no logic in pessimism over something I cant control. I get paid to be pessimistic, so optimism is fun. -

QUOTE (Cerbaho-WG @ Sep 26, 2012 -> 09:08 PM) You completely sidestepped my question. So I'll reword it: At the beginning of the year did you foresee this team playing meaningful games down to the wire? Yes. I thought Ozzie cost the Sox about 5-10 games so all things being equal I thought the Sox would have a chance to compete. QUOTE (Baron @ Sep 26, 2012 -> 09:09 PM) But see he can build off this which I think is a pretty exciting prospect. I think it was a pretty good hire just looking at this season alone. But with experience it should hopefully get much better. I agree. Thats why I dont understand the lets get rid of Robin vibe. It makes no sense. -

QUOTE (fathom @ Sep 26, 2012 -> 09:07 PM) And that's by far the biggest issue I've had with Ventura the last month. He's managing so much different than he was for the majority of the season. He wants to win. You start to press, you start to make bad decisions because you think youre instincts are wrong. Sometimes you are Reaganing, sometimes youre not. -

QUOTE (Cerbaho-WG @ Sep 26, 2012 -> 09:04 PM) Right, because the Tigers didn't s*** the bed for the first 100 games of the year. Are you really telling me that after beating the brains out of Texas, being up three games with fifteen games to play, etc., that you didn't start to expect more out of the team than you did at the beginning of the year? When I watched the games and I saw players were basically completely done in terms of energy a month ago and when I looked at the schedule of the Tigers versus Sox, I knew that this was going to come down to the wire. Its not over yet, and Im going home with the girl that brought me to the dance.
