You presume Rose wanted Lebron. What indication ever was there that Rose wanted to share the spotlight with Lebron? Im pretty sure Rose texted him maybe 1 time and his comments were something to the effect of "If he wants to come here thats cool". Wade and Bosh were begging him to come.

QUOTE (SoxFan1 @ Jun 21, 2012 -> 10:20 PM) I wouldn't call him a lowlife, but he's an epic douche. If calling yourself The King wasn't enough, "The Decision" and the "go back to your every day problems" comments pretty much sealed it for me. Do you hate MJ? Or is he okay because "hes our epic douche"?

And to add to that Rose didnt help the Bulls at all, he did not recruit Lebron. Im not sure he even wanted Lebron to come.

QUOTE (Jake @ Jun 21, 2012 -> 10:17 PM) The idea of LeBron coming to Chicago seemed really cool, but in the fiasco it became we found out what a lowlife he and his really are. If it was about winning, he would have come to Chicago. It wasn't, it was about LeBron. I'm glad that the whole world doesn't now hate my team and hate my city. Why is Lebron at all a lowlife? Hate the Heat, but Lebron is not a lowlife and it wasnt about Lebron, it was about Wade and him guilt tripping Lebron.

Yeah as a fan I hate what the NBA is sometimes. Who wants to watch a free throw shooting contest? Id rather there be less fouls, less points, if it meant more baskets from the floor.

I think its more Miami beat the s*** out of them. Even with the refs giving the Thunder more free throws, Miami just blitzed them from the 3.

You mean do you think Bulls fans would be b****ing about refs giving them calls? Doubtful, who b****es when things go in their favor? Its like asking if people are b****ing about the AJ call, or any other call that went the Sox way.

My only concern about Falling Skies is they have basically made a super powered alien with no interest in peace and somehow have to keep the humans alive. So far they havent even introduced a V like 5th Column element where they have infighting which is helping the humans.

I actually thought Battier was the first real charge, who knows though the rule is convoluted. If I was a betting man, Id say that regardless of the play on the court, somehow this game will get close again.

I always thought the rule was the defensive player had to establish position. This new rule where you can be moving "horizontally" is nonsense and almost impossible to tell.

Penn State horror story
From the Tribune article: http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/sns-rt-...0,6833033.story That instruction definitely favors Sandusky.

To each their own obviously, but when you have almost 10 years invested into a message board, there has to be a pretty compelling reason to go to the other one. You dont need to change Soxtalk at all, NBA could simply be a sub-forum, like the Buster is a sub-forum of AJ's. (edit) That is if you want to drain from this message board. If you want bullstalk as a separate and distinct message board, you need to hit other NBA boards and try and attract new posters.

Good call. Miami cant lose, its just unimaginable at this point. They would never choke or miss clutch free throws.

That really is the problem, most of us make a choice to post here. The only way another site will get off the ground is if you have dedicated posters who are volume posting, and not just about the Bulls. Since, I am not going to repost the same information on another site (off topic stuff), it means that the other site is just a basketball site. If its just going to be a Bulls site with predominately the same posters as Soxtalk, it may as well be a sub-forum of this site. This thread had 8k posts from start to finish, during that time Id guess that Soxtalk had 100k posts. Just going to need a bunch of people who are solely dedicated to talkbulls to get it off the ground, because Im not sure 8,000 posts is enough material over a year to keep people interested. It is only 20 posts a day.

The Democrat Thread
I dont agree that opt-in v opt-out will cripple Unions. I think it will make sure that Union members have more say in what their Union is doing, and they arent just forced to pay money into something where they have no idea what is happening to it. Where was this in the ruling? I saw nothing that stated that unions must be RTW. Only Breyer's dissent even mentions right to work, no where in the ruling does it say that Unions must cover non-Unions, or am I just missing it? I didnt read all 50 pages.
