Heat series went 5 games last year in the first round losing to the lowly 76ers, amount of games a series goes means nothing. Case and point, the Mavs went 6 games in round 1 last year, then only last 3 games the rest of the playoffs.

Right Bulls fans were saying that the Bulls couldnt beat the Celtics after Rose went down. That is popping off when the Celtics are the lower seed in the Atlanta series. This happens all the time when a team plays another team that lost their best player. They go into the game unfocused and believing theyll coast to a win. They lost that game by 4 points, they won the 2nd game by 15 points and against the Heat this year they are 1-2 with 1 of their losses in OT. SS2k, Simmons said it as well (not a Bulls fan) and the person in this thread is not the only Bulls fan I have heard say that in the world. So plural is appropriate as I have heard more than 1 Bulls fan say it, thus BullS not Bull fan.

Popping off early? That would be the Bulls fans who said the Bulls cant beat the Celtics. Asking why everyone is acting like the Heat have a cake walk (ie not even suggesting that the Pacers could give them a series), is not popping off. Its legitimately asking why do Bulls fans think that the Heat should have asterisks, etc, and not even talk about the Pacers?

Its a good question and one that the Bears front office has never explained. If you go through my posts, I consistently state I dont understand why the Bears did not give Carimi a LT grade. If you read about last years draft youll see some scouts didnt like his knee bend and other form issues with pass protection (ie a quick speed rush may beat him). Also he was a rookie with limited time to learn the playbook due to the lock out. They may have just wanted him to play RT to start and get comfortable to then move him to LT. I think Carimi is really going to impress people once he comes back. I cant understand why Reiff would get a LT grade and Carimi a RT grade, but sometimes it just doesnt make sense.

The Heat are whiny b****es, I dont see anyone acting as if they arent in the playoffs. The Pacers are a good team, they can give Miami a fight.

Same thing for Wisconsin, Josh Ogelsby was one of their highest rated prospects of all time (huge tackle) he signed as an UDFA with Oakland I believe.

Would you rather win the AL East or lose in the World Series? I think different people will have different answers to those questions. All I really care about is NBA Championships, the rest you can make arguments about. It really just depends on whether you think having the best record over 82 games means more than winning 12 games at the right time.

The Bulls have the best record in the East back to back years, how is that 2nd or 3rd? It just depends on what you value, I dont really care about 2nd place in the playoffs, I think thats less of an achievement then best record in the regular season.

Not when you dont win the Championship game. Id rather win the Conference in the regular season, than just make the finals. Now winning a Championship is > a Conference Title, but just making the Finals? No one cares about the first loser.

Bears are bringing in Kyle Wotja from Wisconsin, was their long snapper. In 2010 he tore his acl and still snapped on extra points that week.

For me an asterisk has to be unrelated to in game play. That means injuries never result in an asterisk as tonight Lebron and Wade could get injured and that is just part of playing basketball. Personally I am going to wait and see. I just am not in love with this Miami Heat team (I never have been) and ever since they were put together all Ive heard is how they will break every record, win more than 72 games, win every championship. So far they have yet to have the best record in their own conference. The Heat need to actually win before we worry about asterisks. I dont really see them winning this year.

I still cant believe how quickly people are willing to jump off the bandwagon. The Bulls can beat any team in league without Rose, they may not be favorites (if they ever were) but they still have to be considered one of the top 4 teams in the East. And for all of the talk about how the Bulls cant beat the Celtics, Id take the Bulls without Rose over their roster.

This is the first season of Grimm, it is a pretty solid show. Monroe isnt supposed to be THE big bad wolf, he just is a Blutbad (there is actually an episode with the "3 little pigs".) who is reformed (Wieder Blutbaden). Good show.
