    Free Ice Cream

    It's such a beautiful day outside. I can only think about ice cream.
  5. QUOTE(santo=dorf @ Mar 2, 2005 -> 03:59 PM) Nobody ever mentions how we got this guy in the CLee trade. And he's pretty nasty on lefties, too.
  6. QUOTE(JimH @ Mar 2, 2005 -> 03:56 PM) Ron Santo shut out of the HOF again ... "OHHHHHH NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!" So even if the Sox lose, it'll still be a good day.
  7. Finally got a break during work. It's so nice to read these game threads again!! It's also nice to hear the voices of John and Ed with 20 degree weather outside.
  8. My handy schedule I picked up from Soxfest says 1pm. My bad. Didn't mean to get anyone's hopes up. Guess I'll have to wait an extra hour.
  9. http://chicago.whitesox.mlb.com/NASApp/mlb...t=.jsp&c_id=cws I agree with the last sentence. Let's focus on this team and prepare for Opening Day.
  10. So I take it Oz has decided Rowand is the CF for today. I wonder how soon until he's playing LF. T-minus 2 hours 30 minus until Spring Training baseball 2005!!!
  11. South Korean pitcher Sang Ho Moon, 23, pitches as Chicago White Sox pitching coach Don Cooper, left, and General Manager Ken Williams watch, during a free agent tryout at the Chicago White Sox spring training facility in Tucson, Ariz., Tuesday, March 1, 2005. Moon reportedly played professional ball in Korea in 1999 and 2000, and is returning to baseball after a manditory four-year military service obligation.
  12. http://chicagosports.chicagotribune.com/sp...-home-headlines His personality has been different here, than what has been perceived from his days in Boston. I guess he's really comfortable here. He's too a great season from Carl
  13. 8-4-7 in the hizzouse!! Peace out, yo!
  14. QUOTE(AnthraxFan93 @ Mar 1, 2005 -> 08:21 AM) WOW, Ozzie calling a player a kid.. This is a shocker. He probably calls El Duque a kid!
  15. That's the best quote of the article. I'm all for keeping PK for years to come, maybe even as DH if *gasp* Big Frank doesn't come back.

    A New Addition

    My basset hound puppy (8 mos.) follows me around the house all the time and can't stand it when the wife I and leave. He's the greatest and cutest thing in the world. Congrats on the new addition.

    Films

    Netflix can now give you separate queues for each household. That worked out well over the weekend. The wife watched "The Notebook" and I watched "Anchorman"
  18. QUOTE(Queen Prawn @ Feb 28, 2005 -> 01:19 PM) Brian and I have been trying to figure out which Muppet song that is (or what skit it is from)? It sounds like Rowlf singing, but I can't place it. Anyone know? It's been driving me nutz. Whenever I see that commercial, I end up "singing" the damn thing for days on end. I tried the diet cherry vanilla this weekend on the way home from a road trip and I was shocked...I really liked it. If you're from Chicago and listen to Q101, there's an afternoon show here where they play it sometimes. Here's a link to download it. http://www.wtrshowforums.com/dload.php?action=file&file_id=7
  19. QUOTE(orangekrush88 @ Feb 27, 2005 -> 03:15 PM) How about the Dr.Pepper one with the Manamana!! I hate that one so much. That's the Muppet Song right? But that Dr. Pepper flavor sounds nasty. Diet cherry vanilla :puke
