I didn't follow the Sox until the 80's. I know my dad is a huge Nellie Fox fan, and my brother loved Chet Lemon for some reason. But here goes my list: 80's: Harold, Fisk, Kittle, Walker, Jack McDowell, Ozzie 90's: Ventura (for many reasons), Thomas, Ordonez, Raines, Lance Johnson, Maggs, Ozzie, Albert Belle 00's: Thomas, Maggs, Rowand, Buehrle, Konerko, Lee, Freddy Garcia Good Topic.

I know that guy who did "A Christmas Story" was a big Sox fan. Jean Shepherd was his name. He even hosted a video history on them. He died years ago.

Is Jay Mariotti a Sox fan?

I've been there before. Too many restaurants. But the centerfield fan deck is similar to one at Comiskey. It's much better than County Stadium. I even got to see the roof close. It's worth the trip, in my opinion.

It would nice to give Caballo a nice round of applause. I may actually make the 90 minute trip up there.

On a sidenote, EvilJester where do you get those pictures for your avatar? As far as Hawk, I love the dear-air silence wherever the opposition draws a walk, etc. I can tell he's a true Sox fan. I could that he really wanted Caballo to get his 100 RBI at the end of the season last year.

I have a feeling Vazquez will get traded. To the Orioles, Tigers or some other pitching starved team. I agree, I am sick of this rumor. Too much money involved as well.
