  4. Yeah, I am pumped. My brother already has his Buckeye tickets and hopefully I will be going to a few games this year. People are going to be surprised by our new defense.

    SNL

Will Ferrell has got to be the funniest guy on earth. I don't know why, but his stupidity is so funny.
  7. QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ Jul 30, 2006 -> 10:32 PM) I watched back in the Stone Cold days when I was in high school and was also a fan of WCW for a while. But I haven't watched the stuff in a long long time, although I will stop the channell if I see it on but I no longer recognize a lot of the guys. Same here. I stopped watching right after they started merging with those other wrestling corporations.

  9. How do you cut your images? If it's one thing I've noticed from you over the years is your ability to cut extremely well.
  10. QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ Jul 23, 2006 -> 01:42 PM) Chisoxcentral has had like 10 different names in a few month period or so it seems. The owner gave up on it.
  11. QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ Jul 24, 2006 -> 06:26 PM) Let me try changing that stuff once all this sox news slows down, lol. Slacker...
  12. QUOTE(Heads22 @ Jul 23, 2006 -> 05:01 PM) I do think that Sandy would be an awesome fit with the team....um.....for the third time. He's a good guy, and he doesn't out and out suck, which is a positive. He's also getting up their in age and would be almost as productive as Widger. Is that saying anything?
  13. QUOTE(CySox @ Jul 23, 2006 -> 04:58 PM) Come on, please be Javy Lopez Honestly, I don't see how that would work. Wouldn't Lopez want to start?
  14. QUOTE(JDsDirtySox @ Jul 23, 2006 -> 04:55 PM) Other possibilites are: Josa Molina Jason Larue Sandy Alomar Jr. Javy Lopez Mike Piazza Yup, I thought about Alomar as well.
  15. QUOTE(WHarris1 @ Jul 23, 2006 -> 04:51 PM) Go to their player profile on ESPN.com and look at fielding stats. Ah, ok, thanks.
  16. QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ Jul 23, 2006 -> 04:50 PM) It appears that Stewart is the backup plan so this should add to what Jim is saying. Working on a writeup right now. Rumor: Widger Designated For Assignment By Jason Gage Soxtalk.com has learned that backup catcher Chris Widger was designated for assignment following Sunday’s game against the Texas Rangers. Widger struggled behind the plate and at the plate for the club in 06, batting .184 in 27 games while posting a 5.36 CERA (Catchers ERA). It is unclear who will replace Widger, but our sources say that Ken Williams is working on bringing in a veteran catcher. Ozzie Guillen backed up these sources in his post game press conference by stating that GM Ken Williams was working on adding a bat and a veteran catcher. If the trade or signing Williams is working on fails to be completed, Chris Stewart would be called up from AAA Charlotte. Stewart, 24, is batting .266 with 3 HR and 22 RBI in 71 games with the Knights and would not be considered a major offensive upgrade to Widger. However, Stewart is the most advanced signal caller in the system and possesses a strong arm and rates out as an above average defensive catcher. Please check back with Soxtalk.com as we will be updating this story as we find out more. Jason, how do you find the catchers ERA?
  17. So all indications are pointing towards Stewart?
