Yeah, they need a trade, but honestly i don't know what we need more right now...another starter...some bullpen help...or a hitter. Definitely need the latter two.

We SUCK!!!!!!! yeah,... well so do the upcoming pitchers, carlos silva(sox have done well against him) jason johnson, jeremy bonderman(who didn't pitch long last outing against the sox), mike maroth, gary knotts, and jimmy gobble. now none of those pitchers are aces, so i say if there is no offense in the future 6 games and we don't win at least 4 we're in big trouble. especially if nothing is done by the trade deadline. and by that time the sox should have another pitcher(whether it is a sp(benson) or rp(mota)) and an offensive at bat( whether it is outfield(batista, beltran, wilson, finley, makowiak, cliff floyd) or catcher(lopez, kendall, zaun) or seattle dropouts(boone, or olerud)

it should also be on fsn.

those three better not give it up to the middle relief guys cause they arent impressive. Mark Fred and Esty better pitch a minimum of 6 innings each, but i'd like to see 7 to 9 innings.

let's just win this first game and go from there...we definetly need to win two of three...but let's go one game at a time. Buerhle needs to be on his game again and shut the Twins down. The Sox need to play baseball and not long ball...it seems they get into a habit of trying to hit homers when they are down, but when they are ahead they tend to play real baseball getting hits in all parts of the field. They also seem to make mistakes on the field, and on the basebaths when they get down by a few runs. Gotta jump on the Twins early and often.

yeah, rowand is right, i didn't really word that right...i noticed after i posted it... i meant that he wouldn't throw a fuss about being the closer because he is an excellent set up guy.

Guillermo mota is the guy the sox should look into...dodgers are willing to trade him for a sp or another hitter...he is an excellent set up guy so there would be no problem with him looking to close games.

i know that mesa is available but he specifically stated he wanted to keep his closer role...so he is out of the question. Maybe we can get guillermo mota, he currently is a set up guy...and most teams looking at him want him to be a closer.
