Does anyone besides me notice that most of his long runs like 10 plus are on the 3rd and long like 3rd and 20 type instances when the defense is mostly playing deep...

yeah a 6 year deal and he is making roughly 10 million per maybe a bit more.

Ok your not taking into account that Brown was basicly out, Urlacher was out a lot and when playing was playing hurt, Tillman got injured and wasnt really the same after it, azumah was hurt, Ogunleye his whole time with us was hurt and RW by losing him for defense its addition by subtraction even though he is an awesome punt returner. Than on offense Benson is much more talented than Enis and should be a major contributer after our bye week for sure and hopefully help us in the 3 games b4 that 2. Our O-Line while the upgrades arent amazing we had injuries on it and Q-Mitchell is the worse LT ever..... Than take into account last year David Terrell was the number 1 WR this year its Muhamed how huge of an upgrade is that? And like i said earlier while still a rookie Orton is still an upgrade over the trash out there throwing the ball last year. BTW when I say trash i mean as in just horrible NFL players... Not saying they are trash im sure there all good people...and dont really blame Krenzel of that group a 6th round pick not expected to really ever start in the NFL and has to do it his rookie year thats tough.

Like its been said with a worse team talent wise and being injury riddled we won 5 games so with more talent and health you would expect at least a 2 game increase hopefully a 4 game increase and playoffs but we shall see. Just remember this non-bears fan... for the majority of last year our QB's were Jonathon Quinn(basicly 0 QB rating), Craig Krenzel(like 18 QB rating), and Chad Hutchinson...(cut this year)... Orton while a rookie is still an upgrade.

oh man Tommy John will suck... Well hope you dont get it but if you do dont be 2 down it has helped a lot of pitchers careers although it would be a b**** to go through the surgery and all that rehab.

well looking ahead we got a big chance to lower it... Detroit, KC, an Angel team not doing great, and than KC again.... so this is our best chance to really finish up strong.

Well I really think anything less than 7 games is a dissapointment.... Ill take 7-9 if we show improvement but if its 5-11 means we didnt improve at all and 6-10 means with everything we added it only resulted in 1 game.

I think everyone is 2 worried about HR's.... give me a guy that will hit for avg. hit some doubles play some good defense our park will give him some HR's and all is good.

Hammer if he can stay healthy Azumah is not a hole at CB.... ill say ok to your DT and OLB position because you consider avg. to be a hole but Azumah is above avg. if healthy and he should be healthy by season opener.

I wouldnt even call Al Harris solid for the packers... maybe as a number 2 CB but he is their number 1.....And he is one guy id consider having vasher start over....

I think a lot is riding on how Kittner performs vs the Browns to see if he stays on the team. I read or heard somewhere he is going to get some time to prove himself that game. If he doesnt cut it id love for us to pursue the QB the Pats just cut.

I really dont mind whatevr we do. Its good because it will give our guys a chance to rest their arms be fresh for the playoffs but at the same time if they dont want it dont make them unhappy. Although I bet you even though he could use it the most that El Duque was one of those guys that said he wouldnt like it, Im also guessing Freddy G is one 2 but he loves Ozzie to much to throw a hissy fit .

Nah Furcal would be in a "latin environment" and if anything id think play better with us next year. But as of right now im just worrying about this season and hopefully post-season b4 the off-season. Although I do agree that from the looks of it B-Mac is going to be a starter next year which would make you think one of Contreras/Duque are gone... and really wouldnt mind losing either although if I had to choose one it would be Contreras.
