wow, a leadoff catcher, something i havent seen on this sox team for a while. He's got the speed, but i think it'll be a little too much pressure on him, being our almost-everyday catcher(hopefully), the wear and tear of catching, we should take a little pressure off of him. Besides, batting 9th is like a second leadoff man anywayz

I used to argue that rauch should have the 5th spot. But the more i think about it, the more sense it makes that a veteran should have the 5th spot. As Rex said, there really is no need to rush rauch, which could turn out for the worse. If we have a veteran, it'll be veteran, youngster, youngster, youngster, veteran. A veteran would adjust better to not pitching every 5 days. I say we wait till next season, and let rauch pitch every 5 days, to defend our world championship

i'd say maggs, hes been VERY consistent these past years and i believe he'll hit about .335 this year 24 hrs, thomas .305 37 hrs, konerko .312 31 hrs
