  1. I have always defended skiles. But now there is no excuse for putting pargo instead of gordon and hinrich. I don't care what they did wrong one of them need to be out there.
  2. QUOTE(Mr. Zero @ Jan 27, 2005 -> 08:58 PM) The Hornets > the Bulls No.
  3. QUOTE(daa84 @ Jan 27, 2005 -> 08:17 PM) alright guys, i think i worked out a trade that im sure the club would be very happy with to dump harris now... Chicago White Sox trade Willie Harris to the Tampa Bay Devil Rays for Roberto Alomar.
  4. QUOTE(SEALgep @ Jan 27, 2005 -> 08:15 PM) He already said he wants to stay on the Sox, and isn't looking to break the bank. Seems to me like alot of players say that until the time actually comes for them to get paid.
  5. QUOTE(Kalapse @ Jan 27, 2005 -> 07:30 PM) One of the best drafts ever. No team will match this draft in 20 years.
  6. QUOTE(WHarris1 @ Jan 27, 2005 -> 07:37 PM) Dude, Duhon>Udrih. I added him, i forgot him.
  7. QUOTE(Spiff @ Jan 27, 2005 -> 07:25 PM) What the f*** is your problem? The Bulls are two games better than Boston and all of a sudden you act all high and mighty? I guess this is what happens to fans of a team and a city that lately is only good at disappointing. Tony Allen IS starting now. He has worked his way into the starting rotation, and all you people saying otherwise are just proving you don't know s*** about him or the team, which gives your opinion no value. So don't sit there and tell me Tony Allen isn't one of the 12 best rookies in the league. The Bulls already have two players on the rookie team and you still continue to b****. You don't see me b****ing that Al Jefferson should be on the team. Who they picked is who they picked, f***ing deal with it. Of course Duhon is gonna have more starts and minutes, he has been playing for a consistently s***tier team. The Celtics actually have proven veterans. The Bulls are practically all rookies and second year players. But having watched a great deal of Celtics games I can tell you that putting Allen down due to pure numbers is short-sighted and ridiculous. Why name twelve? Only nine get in. Deng, gordon, harris, iggy, howard, okafor, duhon, udrih, smith, kristic, bonner, jefferson should have made it, and childress you can make a case for over allen. Also when you said ''he has been playing for a consistently s***tier team'.'' you meant the last six years i assume?
  8. QUOTE(Kalapse @ Jan 27, 2005 -> 07:18 PM) Well he isn't starting. He did start the last two games.
  9. QUOTE(Palehosefan @ Jan 27, 2005 -> 06:27 PM) We will see if Gordon can put a team on his back and carry them to 56 wins and an Eastern Conference championship. AI is quite possibly the best player 6 foot or under in the history of the NBA. Gordon is very talented in his own right, but he doesn't have nearly the handle or quickness of AI. AI might be a thug to people, but he's one hell of a talent. Gordon will be very solid also, no slight to him. I just have trouble comparing anyone to AI, same with trying to compare centers to Shaq. As for a comparison for Okafor, I would lean more towards Alonzo Mourning over Brand. Brand is a 6'7 PF with great athleticism and hands the size of Godzilla, he's a very unique and good player. Thats hard for me to admit, as he's a dookie. AI is a first ballot hall of famer. Gordon will never be close to such a thing. AI has the best crossover in the history of the nba. So many people have fallen on their asses it's not even funny. Gordon has nice handles but it's not even comparable.
  10. QUOTE(Kalapse @ Jan 27, 2005 -> 07:03 PM) Don't know ask Stocking he started the two different threads. Besides if we did wouldn't it be i n Pale Hose Talk. It says he started it but you have the first post in both.
  11. QUOTE(Spiff @ Jan 27, 2005 -> 06:58 PM) Allen is also a starter on a possible playoff team. :headshake Wo0t, three games he has started all year.
  12. QUOTE(Kalapse @ Jan 27, 2005 -> 06:26 PM) Gordon penetrates better, the only problem is he makes ridiculously stupid passes at times. Duhon is awesome for this team and should be in the game just replace him with Ubrih. Gordon does not penetrater better. He scores better when he penetrates but he is not the better penetrater.
  13. QUOTE(Kalapse @ Jan 27, 2005 -> 06:25 PM) To tell you the truth I agree with you that Duhon should be in the rookie game. Not over Tony Allen but he should be in over Ubrih. I think someone is related to tony allen.
  14. QUOTE(Kalapse @ Jan 27, 2005 -> 06:18 PM) Tony Allen: YEAR TEAM G GS MPG FG% 3P% FT% OFF DEF RPG APG SPG BPG TO PF PPG 04-05 BOS 41 3 14.3 .482 .333 .750 1.20 1.60 2.80 .8 .83 .29 1.00 1.70 6.0 Chris Duhon: YEAR TEAM G GS MPG FG% 3P% FT% OFF DEF RPG APG SPG BPG TO PF PPG 04-05 CHI 40 31 24.2 .322 .327 .739 .30 2.20 2.40 4.9 .98 .00 1.73 2.30 4.6 Do you know what duhon's role on the team is? It's not to score. Anything he adds offensively is a big bonus. His last 7-8 games he has been shooting much better though. Duhon is the best penetrater that the bulls. He can kick out pass better thn anyone on the bulls and definitely better than both allen and udrih.
  15. QUOTE(Jabroni @ Jan 27, 2005 -> 06:05 PM) Did you ever think that maybe Ray King made a mistake? Look at the names of some of the players on the Japan team... http://losangeles.dodgers.mlb.com/NASApp/m...nt=roster_japan Some of them have similar names to Tadahito Iguchi. For example... INF Toshihisa Nishi OF Takahiro Saeki Where else would Ray King have seen Iguchi play? I think it is very possible that while he was there he saw tape of him or something to that affect. Don't know why you think it is impossible that he saw him play just because he personally didn't pitch against him.
  16. QUOTE(Jabroni @ Jan 27, 2005 -> 04:58 PM) HOW DID RAY KING EVEN SEE IGUCHI PLAY??? IGUCHI WASN'T EVEN ON THE DAMN JAPAN ALL STAR SERIES '04 ROSTER!!! http://losangeles.dodgers.mlb.com/NASApp/m...nt=roster_japan Not saying he saw him there. Don't you think he has seem him play at least once? I highly doubt he made that comment without seeing at least oen at-bat of his. You can settle down now.
  17. I don't think you need to face someone if you have seen them play to give your opinion. Maybe that is just me though.
  18. QUOTE(raff @ Jan 27, 2005 -> 04:42 PM) RAY KING SUCKS. PERIOD. DONT EVEN COMPARE HIM WITH MARTE. You are silly.
  19. QUOTE(Punch and Judy Garland @ Jan 27, 2005 -> 04:33 PM) I don't know whetehr or not I'd agree with Ray King because I've never seen Gooch play, but don't insinuate Ray King can't pitch. He's better than Damaso Marte. It's close but i would say marte is slightly better. Marte has a better k/9 ratio, better whip, better batting average against in their careers.
  20. Ray king is one of the very best left handed relievers in the game. But his opinion means nothing?
  21. QUOTE(SoxFan101 @ Jan 27, 2005 -> 03:44 PM) well Okafur is obviously the better play as of now. I see him as an elton brand type player. But Ben Gordon in my opinion can be AI like. Just since he has more around him wont have to force so many shots. You think he will ever average 30 point per game? I disagree.
  22. Why couldn't crede be like him? I would love to have him on the white sox.
  23. QUOTE(DBAH0 @ Jan 27, 2005 -> 03:56 AM) Cork Boy Watch; Right after we get through complimenting them, sorta. :headshake
  24. QUOTE(DBAH0 @ Jan 26, 2005 -> 08:37 PM) The O's could be considered off-season winners for not making any bone headed moves, and not offering to big contracts to players who don't deserve it. They need to develop that young pitching of theirs as much as possible. They are still considered one of the worst run baseball teams in all of baseball by me no matter what happens.
