Everett is gonna be playing a huge role the first month or two with thomas being injured and all. Everett is gonna get enough playing time to justify his salary i think. I believe it is cheat who thinks he will get 450 at-bats or more.
I have told you two times now, look at his numbers as a reliever. Also a career 4.31 era is far from sucking. If you want to know some pitchers that suck just ask me.
Schoe is fine if he only pitches five innings. He does not have the arm strength to go seven or eight consistently. He is definitely best suuited for the bullpen which he wants no part of.
I don't know if the sox are interested in giving himm and incentive laden deal for one year. Only teams mentioned with him thus far are the braves and cardinals.
