  1. When did i say i know everything? I don't think i have ever implied that either. Going by podsednik's minor league numbers ( which he was in for nine years) it just does not look very promising.
  2. What am i saying that pissed you off so much? I just corrected you that player to be named is the same as player to be named later, not trying to piss you off. I think you are one of the best posters on soxtalk so that would be a silly thing for me to do. We may nto agree all the time but we do understand where the other is coming from. Also, would you be happy if we just get podsednik, vizcaino, and this mitch stetter?
  3. Player to be named is the same exact thing as player to be named later. I have seen it before.
  4. I know, even in a better pitchers park than we have i do not see him having 4-5 years in a row with an era in the 2.80-3.30 range. That is what i consider an ace. Maybe for this day and age i have to high of expectations?
  5. I agree, i just hope we get the same year or better that vizcaino had last year and not the type of year he has in 2003.
  6. He is like you said our ace, but in my opinion he is not an ace. I am sure some people won't agree with me on that.
  7. I was gonna post that yesterday but. I renenber people from basketballboards.net saying that it sound like she was originally coming on to him. That is what i got from it too.
  8. I wish the boards over there were set up like soxtalk, i am not a fan of how it is now.
  9. I have heard ''player to be named later'' over 100 times on the radio. I am not making it up. If it wasn't they would have just named him already.
  10. I would like to know where you have seen he has a deal in place with the mariners. This should be interesting.
  11. So you are telling me if pujols was on the expos he would not put up similar numbers? I find that hard to beleive. You telling me that if pierre is on the pirates he would not put up similar numbers? I find that hard to beleive.
  12. I agree, that is like saying someone hits .5 more homeruns per week. It may not seem like alot, but if you add it all up it means alot by the end of the year.
  13. Lead-off hitters should not need protection. They are suppose to be one of the best hitters on your team and should be able to get on if their protection is 8 henry blanco's.
  14. http://www.brewerfan.net/ViewPower50.do This is all this guy has to say about him. He ranks him their 42nd best prospect out of the top fifty. ''Hasn't yet quite found his Beloit form, and it is very tough to get into a groove against AFL hitters''
  15. I have to of said this fifty times, he is a career .265 hitters in the minors, There is a reason why he was not given consisten playing time in the majors until he was 27-28. Sure he can steal alot od bases, but what else can he do well? No one is gonna convince me podsednik does not suck. If he has a .340 obp it will be acceptable i guess but anything lower than that me no likey.
  16. I will change my opinion from fleeced to favoring the deal if ginetr is in the deal. But ginter will not be in the deal, so it better be one of their top 10 prospects.
  17. You're a lying assmunch.... Evidence --- http://www.soxtalk.com/forums/index.php?sh...ndpost&p=523864 You were willing to give up Diaz too. :fyou Cheat, you just pwned him so f***ing bad.
  18. I agree, but if one of are starters gets injured hermanson is a better guy than cotts, diaz, and grilli to throw out there.
