Polanco will makes less money with a better obp. Makes sense to me which is the better sign. A .25 better obp may not seem like alot but it is a pretty big difference. Polanco has a better career batting average, obp, sluggin and ops. Also is a damn good fielder. At out park polanco would probally put up uribe type power numbers which would just be an added bonus.
Two out of the last three years his away era has been 3.31, 5.59, and 3.21. I am not counting the three years before that because he never pitched over 100 inning until he got to the dodgers in 2002.
Ya, hudson would automatically be our number one. The i would go with hudson, buehrle, garcia, perez, and contreras. Would be right, left, right, left, right. Which would be ideal imo.
Difference between uribe and guzman is more than 3 million dollars per year. Uribe also has some nice power number. One thing he really needs to improve on is baserunning. He was terrible last year. Had to be the worst base runner on the sox last year and that is saying something.
I still think he wants a ''starting job.'' But all that probally means is that he starts opening day . I would not mind him for about 1-1.5 because that is all i think he is worth at this point in his career.
Then they could platoon polanco with crede and willie if they are that concerned with willie losing all of his playing time. If anyone of the three get really hot, then the one who is in a slump most would be on the bench until they cool off.
50-50 to me. Some people feel konerko is the second coming of ruth just because he hit 41 homeruns last year. But they fail to look at the rest of his numbers. Most importantly his away numbers. Alot underate garland including myself, i don't actually underate him, more so i do not like him.
He will get on average of twelve per year. First couple years of the contract may be loaded with incentives due to his health risk. The amount of years he wants is not really known. Maybe someone else has heards something about the years he wants.
If he did in fact trade for ortiz, there is nothing he could do to make this a decent off-season. In all honesty, if he did that he would need to be fired on the spot. Everyone else knows he would get lit up here, why not one of the people that should know most?
If russel branyan is all that he could become why would you even want him? Miller want s and will most likely get around 5 million over two years, which is two much for us, imo.
Any money he will be a bull for at least another 4 years. I would not mind dalembert even though he is a restricted free agent next year also. Korver's career ciled goal percentage is worse than his career 3 point filed goal percentage. :puke
Trade number 2 i like, but then we would definitely have to get a center next year.
Trade number three interests me not at all.
