Thanks. There was someone on yesterday’s game thread who said their birthday was yesterday and he was attending the game. I wished him the best of luck for a White Sox winner. I feel sorry for the guy since the Sox lost. I understand and I know who that someone is, but like I said, I had nothing but negative feeling surrounding me when I arrived to the stadium. I am thankful that everything turned out all right and hope to see another White Sox winner for tomorrow

That someone is truly mistaking.

Konerko is a definite Cub killer. Now all the Sox need to complete the cycle is Frank Thomas and Carlos Lee to hit some HR’s. Players that I consider Cub killers: Paul Konerko Jose Valentin Frank Thomas Carlos Lee

Coming into the game, I had absolutely no high hopes for a White Sox winner. Knowing that a Triple A pitcher was our starting pitcher of the afternoon, he’d go against a fine pitcher (Zambrano) and a good offensive lineup. Nothing but negative feelings were all around me. There I was sitting in the Lower Deck Box surrounded by enthusiastic White Sox fans and some cubbie blue that could be seen all over beautiful U.S. Cellular Field. Seconds into the game, the crowd started to get real loud once our 2004 White Sox were running into the field ready to play some baseball. I was enjoying the entire game with 10 of my friends. All of them who were wearing black and white. Man, did we have a fun time watching Paul Konerko hit a HR, followed by Crede. Everything was going all right. In the entire game, the most surprising thing was Felix Diaz. What a wonderful job he did. Player of the day. I was there live to see Shingo get another save and see him once again with a big smile on his face. Once the game was over, I was heading to my car which had a White Sox flag in front (I replaced the American flag for the Sox flag ) and noticed that some Cub fans parked right next to me. I could tell since they had a Sosa sticker (with #21 on it) right under their city sticker. I was able to see those Cub fans get into their without having to say a single word. They were quiet. And let me tell you that they ignored the Sox flag I had put up and the big grin I had. I attended a White Sox winner. Sox record with me in attendance: 2-0 I’ll also have the pleasure to see tomorrow’s game at the Cell

Moyer isn't bad. He had a record of 21-7 last year with an impressive 3.27 ERA.
-
KW is cheap. I’m sure he won’t get the Sox 2 SP. Probably 1 but not 2.
-
I don’t like what they're saying at all. I really want Freddy Garcia in a White Sox uniform before July 31. This guy can really help the team out. And with the offense helping him out, I’m sure the Sox will win a lot of games with him around. But if KW does get Ortiz, I will have no problem, I just rather have Garcia any day.

It was also Uribe’s fault. He should have never gone that far. He should have stayed in his 2B position and leave Gload alone. The picture of Uribe and Gload dropping the ball is all over the place (such as the newspapers). It would have been a lot better if the picture showed Ross by himself.

Win or loose, I’ll still be a White Sox fan all my life.

Sox will steal a game they've no business winning

I'm going this afternoon to see the Sox loose, but hopefully the damn offense is there to score 15 runs or something -
WHEN WILL THINGS TURN AROUND JECKLE? WHEN!? *sky falls on everyone*

I did notice that most of his curve balls were nothing but strikes. Cotts did a very good job against a good offensive lineup without having to give up any homeruns. But when Jackson came in.... everything changed.

Some guys will have a good career in the big leagues and some won’t. Look at Mark Prior. The guy is just 24 years old and is starting off very well. Jon looks like a much younger guy, but he is a year older and doesn’t seem to show any improvement over the years. Garland has always been a guy who’s ended up with a 4. something ERA. I am not ashamed that he’s wearing a White Sox uniform, I just wish he’d work even harder than before.

No kidding. I’m pretty sure everyone will be excited that we get such an early Christmas present in June or July. The main guy I want is Freddy Garcia and a couple of reliable bullpen arms. But If we do get Ortiz and Garcia, this team have better start kicking ass in the field.

Astros close to trading for Urbina

I agree. KW hasn’t done s***. Until I see him doing something to help this desperate team out, than I’ll stop talking about him. Him dumping Koch was a positive thing, but it’s something that should have been done a long time ago. -
What are the Sox buying?

There is going to be a lot of fighting after this ballgame. I am starting to hate the Cubs even more than before.

2 out.

1 out.

There's a reason why they call him Action Jackson.
-
At least the Sox stop Derek Lee's hitting streak.

I told you Ozzie was asking for trouble right there :headshake You suck Jackson :puke
-
Not Action Jackson Ozzie is asking for trouble right here.

Get Shingo in the game. We still have a chance of scoring some runs in the bottom of the ninth.
